After Sasha and Jesus kill all of the walkers you rush through Barrington House, determined to make sure they are okay. When you walk out of the doors you see the other people of Hilltop helping close the gates and some lifting dead walkers onto the still existing fires.

You just catch a glimpse of Sasha as she goes to help Maggie out of the tractor, practically scolding her as she talks to her. But your attention is pulled away from them as you spot Jesus throwing one of the dead walkers onto a fire.

You walk over to him, when he sees you he smirks and readies himself for what he knows is coming. You grab his arms and check him for bites, you make him turn and move his hair and lift his legs for you check. When you see no bites you hug him.

"I'm alright (Y/N)." He says as he rubs your back.

"I just had to be sure." You say into his chest.

. . .

You spend the rest of the night wondering if the saviors know about Hilltop's connection to Rick's group killing their people at the satellite building.

You wonder if Negan will barge into Hilltop tomorrow ready to kill someone.

But what was most prominent in your mind is your dream about Daryl. 'Is Negan gonna kill him?' You lay on your bed staring at the dark ceiling, 'Has Negan already killed him?' Your left hand squeezes you right index finger as you mind continues to wonder, 'Will I ever see him again?' You start to twist your finger, 'Will I ever be able to him how I feel?'

. . .

You wake to the sunlight flooding through your window. You sit up in your bed to see that your couch is empty and the blanket is neatly folded on top of the pillow that Jesus had used.

You stand up from your bed, still in the clothes you had on yesterday and walk down out of your bedroom.

Even from where you're standing on the third floor you can hear your Uncle Gregory and Jesus arguing.

You rush down the stairs, but stop on the last few steps of the last staircase and sit there.

"I don't care what they did." Their argument is muffled by the door and Gregory trying to contain his anger, so all of Hilltop doesn't hear him. "The answer is no."

"I'm not turning away a pregnant woman who helped us." Jesus' voice pauses for a moment, the thought of Gregory scolding him all the time floats in your mind. "I'm not turning away Sasha either-"

"Who the hell is Sasha?"

"They're staying." His voice is stern with that sentence.

"You're not in charge Jesus. I am. I'm the one who has to look after the safety of this place." You can hear the arrogance in his voice as it gets slightly louder, "What, are you telling me you want to call the plays, after all this time, after I set the table here? Say the word." You stand up from the steps and walk closer to the door. "The broken gate, the Saviors, the people- all of this can be yours." You're right outside of Gregory's office door, when Maggie and Sasha walk though the front door of Barrington House. "Only you'd have to stick around for more than five minutes. You'd actually have to be a part of this place."

Quickly after Gregory's last words Maggie asks, "Is Jesus in there?" All you do is nod and her and Sasha barge into Gregory's office.

Their conversation peaks your interest, but you know that it'll just be the same argument that Jesus was losing. However, you continue to slightly listen as you go back to sit on the stairs.
