Penny desperately ran through a darkened alley way, feeling a vague sense of dread while she leaped from the shadows and toward the lightened and opened streets of New York.

She didn't know why she was running, or what she was running from, or who. All she knew was that the shadows followed her. Clawed hands emerged from the darkness, crashing and slashing into the walls in an attempt to grab her. As Penny narrowly dodged a grapple attempt her spider senses went off as the night sky suddenly reached down to grab her. Succeeding in capturing her. She tried to cry out, to struggle against the grip of the darkness but she couldn't... Not as the sky slowly formed a twisted, evil face. Several rows of pointed teeth all collected in a mouth that unhinged to swallow Penny whole...

As the living nightmare nearly ate Penny whole, suddenly a flash of red and blue had reached out and grabbed Penny out of the shadows, knocking the sky away and the shadows away. Penny looked over toward her savior, immediately recognizing it as her costume.

Vein-like shadows began to wrap around the neck of the costume as a noose. The darkness then grabbed Penny and violently wrestled her suit for Penny, making them both fall over. Slowly but surely, more veins began to wrap around and bind the red and blue costume down until the darkness growled and finally pried Penny from her savior. As Penny tried to pry her way free of the grip, she let out a voiceless scream as the darkness opened its maw again and shut it down, swallowing Penny Parker whole...

Such a nightmare startled Penny awake. She felt a rush, anxiety, a vague sense of dread as her spider-sense rang like a siren that had began to induce a headache. As she shot open her eyes, she saw... herself... but not at all like how she remembered it...

Her red and blue costume had changed... Into a black suit with silver-lined webbing..

Penny reached out toward her reflection, feeling the tips of her fingers tap and slither along the glass surface of the window. That was when she realized where she was... Looking around, Penny realized that she was no longer home... Instead, she was hanging from a web in the open streets of New York. Climbing onto the wall, Penny got a closer look at herself while she recalled her encounter with Black Cat... The ooze..

"Guess the ooze found me..." Penny mumbled, turning her head slightly to get a look at her costume... Holding her forearm, she tried to pry it off of herself. Her attempt led to disappointment as the suit tightened its grip. Suddenly Penny's body began to move on its own. Now being shoved up by the suit, Penny was forced to leap up and off of the building she was on.

"WAIT, WHAT!!! Hold on! Wait!" Penny shouted to herself, trying to shoot out webbing from her web shooters. That was when she realized her gadgets weren't on her person... Her only choice was to try to get to the building and cling onto it.

As she fell, she reached a hand out to try and get herself to safety... Until suddenly black webbing shot out and attached to the building, propelling Penny to the glass window...

Penny groaned out and rubbed her head. Did she do that? She didn't mean to, but... The suit? The suit did that.. It makes its own webbing...

"Okay... Then let's.. Let's return you to Oscorp..." Penny mumbled..  "Or maybe I can give this thing a test drive.. I mean, why not? It makes its own webbing. Definitely would save some time from making this stuff in school.."

"Let's see what you can do.. Let's go!" Penny exclaimed, gaining control of her body as she leaped off the building, tearing bits of the glass off of the panes of the building... As the bits of glass shattered off, she wasn't aware of the dream that she was currently having as the ooze slowly crawled along her sleeping form, waiting for its time to act...

(YN) shut his laptop off and tried to rub the exhaustion out from his blood shot eyes. As he stood up and set his chair aside, (YN) glanced over at his phone and turned it on. The teen winced as the device flash banged him. As he tried to lower the brightness, he read the time. In around thirty to forty minutes school would start... Another all nighter.

He couldn't help but groan. As he sat down onto his bed, he ran a hand through his hair and slicked it back. He closed his eyes, but struggled to open them again... He hadn't done an all nighter since one of Flash's parties... The exhaustion that followed was always his least favorite part of it. Deciding to wake up for the day, (YN) forced himself up and left his room to take a shower...

After some time washing off, and admittedly spending awhile sitting and thinking to himself, (YN) dried off and got changed. He was still early. Early enough to decide to head the kitchen and get some food to eat. He wasn't hungry, but after pulling an all nighter, he had better eat something. And so he got some water and some fruit. Something small, but it'd help enough.

As he bit into an apple, (YN) made his way over to the Livingroom and turned on the TV. The sun seeped and peeked through the blinds over the windows and helped illuminate the room, so finding the remote was easy enough of a task. As he browsed through each channel, he found the Daily Bugle addressing the whole "Lizard Catastrophe" that had transpired...

(YN) felt his stomach sink and his heart twist a bit. How else was he meant to feel? He wanted to change the channel, but he couldn't help but be curious as to what would happen... And he was surprised by what the screen presented to him.

Tony Stark... One of the founding six members of the Avengers. He was on screen without his usual set of iron armor on. Perhaps he was representing the Department of Damage Control? After the invasion on New York, they had been busy... From what I have been told, the D.O.D.C. had been taking debris and wreckage that had been left behind since then to a remote location so that it can be repurposed for better purposes...

To be honest, I can't exactly say I trust the intentions of that department... Sure, Tony Stark is one of their founders, but I don't know if I can really trust him either. What with his history and all. Until he became a founding member of the Avengers, I never really had much reason to trust his intentions...

Tony then addressed the issue of my father... He refrained from revealing who he was, but did say that they would look into what had happened for the Lizard to come to be...

In other words, he was saying that the Avengers were going to investigate Oscorp and possibly have a meeting with the big man himself... Now that his son was back from a trip with his mother, Norman doesn't have any reason to avoid the meeting. If he rejected or refused, he'd fall under suspicion. I imagine me and my family would be asked questions... No doubt Tony knows what happened to my father.

I guess I'll have to wait until then... maybe I should see if Mom is aware of this.
