"Why you took so long?" Mom asked as soon as I went back to our table.

I didn't see the man who's with them awhile ago. A man who made a big impact in my life.

But I don't care anymore.

They made me numb and cold. That's why I am being like this.

I shook my head to remove them. They shouldn't be the one who I am thinking now.

"Mahaba lang ang pila." Simple kong sagot at kinuha ang isang baso ng wine nang may dumaan na isang waiter na may bitbit ng tray.

People were busy doing there own business. Talking and having fun with the other business tycoon. Trying to feed each other with their lies just to make their business grow.

Typical them.

"Sayang at hindi mo nakita ang apo ni Mr. Eriko." Dad said with a hint of disappointment on his voice.

I bitterly smiled.

Matagal ko ng nakita ang apo ni Mr.Eriko, Dad.

"It's alright. I don't care tho." I coldly said.

I heard he sigh and shook his head from what I said.

"I still don't know why you became cold and heartless, Ivory." Dad said trying to figure out why I became like this.

Oh dear don't try to know about it. You might regret knowing the behind reason of this attitude of mine.

Hindi ako umimik kaya naman ay hindi na nagtanong muli si Dad at nagpaalam na lamang siyang makikipag usap sa ibang kasosyo sa negosyo.

Prente lamang akong nakaupo sa may p'westo namin at walang imik o nagbabalak na makipag usap kahit kanino man.

I don't want to waste my saliva to those people that does not worth my time. I don't even want to be here in the first place. Gusto ko lang magbasa at uminom ng kape sa bahay.

Ilang minuto na akong nakaupo at naisipan kong tumayo para pumunta sa may maliit na garden at magpahangin.

The moon above is really astonishing as she shines so bright making the night bright.

I closed my eyes as I feel the breeze of the wind brushing against my skin that made me shivered to its coldness.

Everyone are scared of me for what reasons?

They believe in the rumors that weren't even true. Ni wala nga silang patunay na totoo ang mga pinagsasahi nila.

They believe what they heard, even though they doesn't have a concrete evidence to prove their rumors.

What a shame.

People think that because of the way how I talk, the way how I approach them or even how I made their life miserable.

Right. Iyon nga.

I smirked and drink the last drop of wine.

Deserve nila 'yon mga gago sila. Kung ginago nila ako edi gagaguhin ko din sila.

Para magaguhan.

I don't care what people might say to me, if I don't give a fvck about them. Sino ba sila para paringgan ko at paniwalaan.
