"Hey Louis," Liam smiles and takes his normal seat across from me.
"Where have you been Liam?"
"Family stuff, but guess what," he pulls something out of his pocket. "I got a cellphone."
"That's awesome. Do you want my number?" He nods and hands me his phone. I add my name and phone number before handing it back to him.
"So, I was wondering..." He puts his phone back in his pocket. "If you maybe wanted to get dinner tonight?"
"Like a date?" He nods.
"Sure, I'd love to." I smile. A date would be awesome. Just something to get my mind off of the unknown texter. I can't believe it's already been nine days. It feels like an eternity since I talked to him last. I wonder if he misses me? I figured he would've texted by now, so I guess he doesn't.
"Great, I'll pick you up at six." I really hope we go somewhere good.
