Chapter 8 George's megasword revealed part 2

We couldn't believe what we were seeing. The others turned the megasword to face it. "I don't believe it. The drago sword!" Tommy said. "I don't like the look of this." I said. "Whoa, what's that?" Ethan asked. "Give you one guess." Conner said. "He must have hatched the dinosaur egg. I don't like the look of this." Kira said. "Hello again rangers. Well, what do you think? If you're gonna wear the suit you gotta have the sword, right? What? Don't look so shocked. Now let's see what this bird could do. Drago sword activate!" George said. John and I called in our swords and brought them together. "You guys ready for this?" Conner asked. "You bet we are!" I said. "I guess so." Kira said. "Let's do it!" John said. "Drago sword, show these guys what you can do." George said. The drago sword started to flap its wings and caused some destruction. We were getting blown back. "Hey, no need to get crazy." Conner said. Then the sword attacked us. That's when Tommy noticed that we needed help. He brought out the stegasword. "I was hoping you'd do that. Stegasword you are under my command." George said as he did something to take complete control over it. Then he brought the drago sword and the stegasword together. "Not bad for a new guy, huh?" George said. "Why are you doing this? You're losing it." I said. "No, you're the one losing it and you're losing it to me." George said. Then we fought for a while. "I say we go at him full on." Ethan said. They tried to use tricera fist and it worked. Then they tried to use tyrano drill but George used the stinger weapon of his megasword. Both of our megaswords got shot down. Tommy was able to break the stegasword away from George's control. "You'll pay for that." George said. And with that he left. We went back to the lab. "That was like the worst day ever." I said. "It was pretty brutal." John said. "There's gonna be a lot of days like this." Tommy said. "Easy for you to say, you are one of the longest living power rangers." I said. "Whatever happened to the glass is half full?" Kira asked. "Sometimes it's not. Sometimes it's empty. But that's when you got to dig deep. That's when the qualities that made you guys rangers become most important. Go have a little fun. Ethan, isn't there a new video game you wanted to check out?" Tommy asked. "I never thought I would hear myself say this but I have no desire to go near a computer." Ethan said. "I know what you mean. I haven't picked up my guitar in days." Kira said. "Go on. Teachers orders." Tommy said. John and I got up and started to walk out when we stopped and turned to face the others. "You guys coming or not?" I asked. They stood up and followed us out. I decided to go horseback riding with Virginia. We got to an open field. "Race you across the field!" Virginia said before she started to take off across the field at a full gallop. "Oh, you are so on!" I said as I took off at a full gallop after her. We got to the end of the field. "Alright. That was a good race. It was close." Virginia said. "Yeah, besides, you probably would still have won, even without the head start you had today." I said. Then I petted the horse I am on. "Good boy Diego." I said. That's when Virginia noticed George. "How long has he been sitting there?" Virginia asked. "I don't know, I didn't really notice it until you pointed it out. Head back to the barn. I'm going to go talk to him." I said. "Okay." Virginia said. She took off at a canter back across the field and I rode up to the fence George was sitting at and leaning up against. "Hey George. Are you alright?" I asked. "Yeah, I'm fine." George said as he looked up at me. Then he turned his gaze back to the ground. "No offense dude. But you don't look fine." I said. "I'm just taking a rest." George said. "Maybe you should head back home." I said. George got up and walked away from me. I went back to the barn and as I was untacking Diego I told Virginia that maybe I should go check on him, just to make sure that he is okay. "Girl, forget it. He's gone." Virginia said. "Look, I'll see you at school tomorrow, okay?" I asked. "Okay, just be careful." Virginia said. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." I said. Then I left. I went in the direction that George went. "George! I know he went this way." I said. Then George showed up as the white ranger and knocked me to the ground. Before hitting the ground I morphed. "Oh great, it's you again!" I said as I got up. "Tell you what, this time I'll give you a sporting chance." George said as he threw his sword to the side. "You're going down!" I said. "Oh really?" George said before attacking me again. "Looks like it's you that's down." George said. "That's it!" I said as I got up and pulled out a thundermax blaster. "Can't fight me without a weapon?" George said. "Alright." I said before throwing it to the side. "Why do we have to fight at all? We're both rangers." I said. "You're good, I'm evil. It's a pretty simple concept." George said. George runs towards me and punches me in the chest causing me to fly back. Back at the lab Kira and Ethan showed up along with John. "Hey." Kira said. "Kira." Tommy said. "That whole kid fun thing, kind of tough when the fate of the world is hanging in the balance." Kira said. "Should've known you're gonna have a tough time with that." Tommy said. "She's not the only one." Ethan said. "Good timing guys." Tommy said. "I hope Ariel isn't having too much fun." John said. Then I decided to try to get some backup help. "Tommy, I'm in some serious trouble. I need backup!" I said. "I'm on it!" John said as he walked out. "Okay, Kira, Ethan, looks like we'll have to deal with this guy ourselves. Then they morph and go take on Mesagog's minion. Meanwhile by George we're doing hand-to-hand combat when George sent me to the ground. "Look what I found." George said as he pulled out a thundermax saber. "You're out of your mind!" I said as I got back up. "Now now, let's not judge. Especially since I have the sword." George said before attacking me with the sword. "This is getting old. Let's finish this once and for all." George said. Then he pulled out a thundermax blaster. "Also comes as a handy lazer." George said before blasting me. John got sidetracked fighting some tyranodrones. Back where George and I are fighting I'm trying to get back up but I can't. "Don't even bother, it's over." George said. "Oh, it's not over by any means!" I shouted as I got back up. That's when super dino mode became active. I charged at him. "Stay back!" George said as he blasted me again, only this time it didn't stop me in my tracks. I sent him flying to the ground. "Whoa, looks like I tapped into a whole new level of power!" I said. George got up. "You beat me at my own game. Congratulations. Looks like you won't have to worry about the white ranger anymore." George said as he collapses onto the ground. "Yeah right, like I'm stupid enough to believe that." I said. George got back up. "You were smart enough to not believe that." George said. "I knew it was a trick." I said. "You put up a pretty good fight, but now it's over." George said. Before George could do anything else Mesagog and Zeltrax show up. "Don't let me interrupt." Mesagog said. George turned to face him. "Who are you?" George said. "I am... Mesagog." Mesagog said. "I can't believe you two haven't met. You have so much in common." I said. "Silence!" Zeltrax said before blasting me. "Do not speak unless spoken too. Now we have some business." Mesagog said. "I have no business with you." George said. "I'll make you a deal. I'll help you defeat the rest of the power rangers. And you can be one of my subjects, when I rule the planet." Mesagog said. "I'll take a pass on that. Fuck this shit, I'm out." George said as he got into his drago sword and left. Then Mesagog and Zeltrax walk up to me. "Shall I finish her master?" Zeltrax said. "No, he has done enough." Mesagog said.
