Chapter 13 Tommy turns & stays invisible

Hayley activated the system after I added the slime. "Here we go." Hayley said. The slime got dumped over Tommy and it made him demorph but it also turned him invisible. "What's going on?" John asked. "He's gone." Kira said. Then I saw the towel moving and the others saw it too. "Look, the towel." Kira said. "Dr. Oliver, are you there?" Conner asked. "Yeah, I'm here. Ariel, any guesses on what's going on?" Tommy asked. "From the looks of it I would have to say that the slime made your dino power of invisibility kick into overdrive, in other words you can't make yourself visible, no matter how hard you try." I said. "Great, I got my body back, but now no one can see it." Tommy said. "An invisible science teacher. That is so totally graphic novel." Ethan said. "Glad you find it funny Ethan." Tommy said. "Is there anything you can do?" Kira asked. "This is a tough one. I have no idea how to counteract that agent." Hayley said. "Don't worry Dr. Oliver, we'll figure it out." John said. "Uh, guys, over here." Tommy said behind us. We turned around to face him, eventhough we can't see him. "There's nothing you can do right now. Hayley and I will work on it." Tommy said. Meanwhile at Mesagog's lab George got framed for something by one of Mesagog's minions and Mesagog actually thought that George did something to double cross him. George was strapped down to the life force extractor chair. "Traitor. You'll regret double crossing me." Mesagog said. "Traitor? What are you talking about?" George said. "You can not be trusted, and therefore, must be eliminated." Mesagog said. "No, you're making a mistake!" George said. "Goodbye white ranger." Mesagog said. He started to drain the life force from George. "Dad don't. It's me, George. I'm your son." George said. Meagog turned into Anton Mercer and turned around to see George while he was getting his life force extracted. "George!" Anton said as he ran over and moved the thing that was extracting his life force away from him and it caused some kind of small explosion that broke the evil encoding of the dino gem. "George, son, are you alright?" Anton asked. He undid the straps. "I'm fine. I feel like my old self again." George said. "The explosion must have shattered the evil encoding of the dino gem." Anton said. "So does that mean there's no more white ranger?" George said. Anton took a look at the dino gem that is still on George's wrist. "As far as I can tell, the power is still active." Anton said. "Great, what do I do with it now?" George said. "Now you're going to use it. You'll use it however you choose." Anton said. Then he collapses. "Dad, what's wrong?" George said. "You have to get out of here." Anton said. "No, I can help." George said. "No, find a way to stop this. Until I do I want you to go and use your powers for something good. Go help the other rangers." Anton said. "The other rangers? That's crazy! I can't fight against you!" George said. "I know you son. I know you'll do what you have to do." Anton said. "I won't tell them your secret dad. I promise." George said. "Now go!" Anton said. George ran out. Meanwhile at the cafe I decided to meet up with Virginia. "Hey Virginia." I said as I walked up to her. "Hey, I still didn't get that answer from you." Virginia said. "Right, sorry about that. I was really busy. So I just wanted to say that you were under an evil spell by George. You were only controlled by him while he was in his ranger form. I had to find the reversal spell so that I could get you back to your normal self." I said. "Wow, that sounds like that was really bad." Virginia said. "Yeah, anyway I have something important to do so I'll see you tomorrow at school, right?" I asked. "Yeah." Virginia said. Then I walked out. I went back to the lab to talk to Hayley about how we could make Tommy visible again. "What if we use one of the devices to make him visible?" I asked. "Which one do you think we should use?" Hayley asked. "We should use the remoleculizer. It might make him visible." I said. "I don't know about that Ariel. You're right about that making him visible again but we don't have a strong enough power source yet. And I don't know how his body will react to it." Hayley said. "Oh, right. I guess I didn't think about that." I said. The next day after school I decided to go talk to Tommy. I went to the lab and Hayley was there, much to my surprise. "Hey Hayley, is Tommy here?" I asked. "Yeah, he's over there." Hayley said. I walked over to him. "Hey Tommy." I said. "Hey, what's up?" Tommy asked. I knew that he was working out. "Uh, Tommy, no offense but what's the point of building your biceps if nobody's gonna see them?" I asked. "No reason. So Hayley said that you wanted to talk to me about something?" Tommy asked. "Yeah, I was actually talking to her yesterday about this and I asked her about using the remoleculizer but then she said that we don't have a strong enough power source and she also has no idea how your body is going to react to it." I said. "Okay, Hayley and I will try to find a strong enough power source." Tommy said. "Okay, when you find or if you have any ideas about what we can use for a power source make sure you contact me and the rest of the team." I said. A few weeks go by and one day Tommy contacted me and asked me to come to the lab and to get the others. I contacted the others and told them to come to the lab. I was talking to Hayley when they came. "What's up Hayley? Where's Dr. Oliver?" Ethan asked. "Yeah, not that we'd be able to see him if he wasn't." Kira said. "Hey guys." Tommy said while working out. "I'll never get used to that." Kira said. "I'm already used to it. Besides, it's been like weeks since he turned invisible." I said. "Hey Dr. Oliver, no offense but, what's the point of building your biceps if nobody's gonna see them?" Conner asked. "Well, that's the reason why I called you here. Hayley found a way to bring me back to normal." Tommy said. "Well, that's great." Kira said. "What are we waiting for? Let's do it." Ethan said. "Hold on everybody. Tommy, I told you. I think the remoleculizer may make you visible again but I haven't found a power source strong enough for it yet." Hayley said. "I've been thinking about that. Maybe we should use this." Tommy said while handing a small box to me. I took the box and opened it. What I saw in the box shocked me. "You're dino gem? Are you crazy?" I asked. "No way. Forget it." Hayley said. "We got to try something. My dino gem is the most powerful source of energy we have." Tommy said. "Powerful being the operative word I have no idea how your body will react to it." Hayley said. "It's too risky." I said. "Hayley, Ariel, we don't have a choice." Tommy said. "I guess you're right." I said. I took the dino gem out of the box. "Okay Hayley, I'm ready." Tommy said as she put some kind of blanket over him. "For the record I still think this is a bad idea." Hayley said. "I'm with Hayley on this. This idea is crazy and really risky." I said. "And for the record I agree with them." Kira said. "Same here." John said. "Don't worry, I'll be fine." Tommy said. "Yeah, sure." I said sarcastically. "See you soon Dr. Oliver, literally I hope." Ethan said. They put four green electrodes on his chest. I gave the dino gem to Hayley to use with the remoleculizer. Tommy took a deep breath. "Good to go." Tommy said. Hayley put the gem into the remoleculizer and turned it on. "Initiating sequence." Hayley said. After a few seconds I noticed that something was going on. "Is everything okay?" Kira asked. That's when I noticed that the remoleculizer was overloading. "It's overloading!" I said. "What's happening?" John asked. "The energy attenuator shut down. He's receiving full turn." Hayley said. There was a small explosion causing Hayley to shut it off. Tommy's dino gem broke into three parts. I took the gem out and noticed that it was destroyed. "His dino gem is destroyed." I said. We all walk over to Tommy who just became visible for the first time in like weeks.
