A Second Chance

Pitou VS Gon

It was quiet despite the loud cheers from the crowd as if everything around the two didn't matter, The Young man stood there and looked at Pitou, not sure what to say.

For the past 4 years, he had been traveling the world, and despite his young age Gon was doing just fine for himself. He even met his father a few times after he even learned his habit of just taking off without saying anything.

He was able to find Gine just a year ago and he told him only this. "I'm leaving, I'm heading to a place that has no name...hope to see you there" was the only message Gon received.

He was finally able to get his Nen back after unlocking it with some help from his friend Killua. Both went their separate ways for now but knew one day they would meet again, he took time on his training and was able to get even stronger than he ever imagined.

One thing was for sure, he wasn't the same little boy all those years ago.

" Pitou...you changed... Haven't you?" Gon asked her.

So many emotions were running through her mind, not sure if she wanted to cry or be fearful of him, at one point she wanted to run away. Never In her short life, has she ever thought of fighting him again.

"...I....I...." Pitou said as she couldn't get any words out, she truly was broken and didn't know what to do.

That is until a voice came from among the crowd, it was loud enough to get both Gon and Pitou's attention.

" ARE YOU SERIOUS PITOU!? SNAP OUT OF IT! you did not just come out here only to act like a scared little cat!" Millianna shouted at her.

"Was all that training for nothing!? Get your act together before I get into that Ring and slap you Pitou!! I believe in you!!!" Millianna shotted.

Those words hit Pitou hard she remembered all the good times and bad times with her friends. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, Gon only watched her waiting to see what she was going to do.

" (Connection Yarn)"

As thin strings of yarn start to come out of her fingers tips and her tail as they start to wave and flow around her. She opened her eyes and readied herself into a fighting stance.

"Prepare yourself! " Pitou said, Gon looked at her and could not help but smile.

" Good to see haven't lost your edge, I won't be holding back!" He said as his aura exploded.

His aura was that of a burning Orange and Red fire, it was burning as if he was putting everything into this fight.

Without warning, both of them charged and clashed and were locked into combat. He was throwing left and right punches and kicks at her as the pressure could be felt with each attack. The fight was getting faster and faster with both of them blocking most of their hits. Pitou shot out her yarn and covered the stage, the yarn was everywhere it even touched the ceilings surrounding both of them.

"Take this!"

She jumped on the strings and started launching herself around him getting faster with each bounce.

" Shit!..too fast! I can't keep my eyes on her! I gotta---"

Gon was cut off with a kick to the face and follow-up by multiple Punches to his gut, he choked as he crashed into the wall of yarn. He realized that it was a bad situation because he had no leg room to move.

"Ok...try this on for size!....show me...rock" as he got into position and charged up his Nen

Pitou kept hitting him but something was wrong, he wasn't taking any damage anymore. So she started to increase her strength in her hits before bouncing right at him.
