After the exciting battle between Gon and Pitou, they had time to relax for a few days with her sleeping but she did miss her fights. After finally waking up she would ask herself this question, did she like Gon?

" Huh!? I...well, I...you know what? I think I'm going to get something to eat hahaha... " She said as she was laughing nervously, but this only confused Gon by not understanding her reasoning. She was looking flustered and was trying to slowly back away.

" Actually! I might just go back to sleep I'm feeling a bit tired... 😅"

"But....you been sleeping all-day Pitou, and it's only 8 PM," he said with a confused look on his face.

Pitou was getting uncomfortable and was about to walk past him, but tripped on something causing her to almost fall. That's when Gon caught her just in time she was able to look at him directly in his eyes.

" Honestly it's strange seeing you like you are you feeling ok?" He asked just to make sure she was alright. But something caught Pitou's attention, the reason why she tripped over in the first place was her Nen Plushie.

The little Neko gave her a cheeky look almost as if the plush was planning this.

" Meow~," the plush said as it was trying to play off like it didn't do anything wrong.

" You little...just you wait..." Pitou said quietly, she looked back at Gon and got herself back up, and sat on the couch next to him. But decided to change the subject at least for now.

She wanted to ask him something.

"Gon....can I ask you something first? I have been wanting to ask this for a long time, and I feel like I have the opportunity to do so."

" Sure, what's this about?"

He asked her, Pitou choose her words carefully and started to explain her struggles as he was listening. He remembered a time when his emotions pushed him into dangerous situations. But eventually, she asked him this question.

" Why did you let me live?...why did you choose to spare me?" Pitou asked him directly.

Gon leaned back on the couch with his arms behind his head and started to explain.

" To be honest, I don't know...but I guess back then I had conflicting emotions and thoughts about you. I didn't know if it was the right choice at the time but maybe I was wrong about you."

"I don't remember what you were saying at the time, my body was so much in pain that I couldn't bare it. But I kept having this nightmare about myself, It was this dream that I kept punching the ground at something."

I kept punching and punching, and I didn't stop that's when.....I...notice it was you...or what was left, that's when Killua showed up. He was horrified and just looked at me and that's when I said ( it's ok, everything is fine now.)

Pitou listened to this, maybe in another timeline that might have exactly happened. She was horrified to picture the image of her with her face caved in repeatedly, she remembered what Vic said to her a long time ago. Humans will put everything on the line for one purpose.

" I...was wrong, and I felt horrible that I put you threw that Pitou. Later I found out that Kite was alive...sort of." Gon said.

" What!?....but....but how? That should not be possible because I....killed him." She said while looking at the ground, she remembered the silver hair man she fought years ago.

She remembered what she did to him and all of the terrible things she put his body through. " How is he alive? "Pitou asked him.

" He told me about his crazy slots and he remembered rolling a number 13, it was a number he had never in his life rolled before. He remembered waking up in a small children's room and soon enough he saw Colt that kept calling him a different name."
