"Hey, Kitty-Kat!"
Katie heard Dean's voice, accompanied by a nudge on her leg which pulled her from her sleep.
She sucked in a steadying breath as she was roused from her sleep, her mouth moving before she could process her words. "Stop calling me that," she mumbled against the leather of the Impala's seats, more than aggravated with the name. She kept her eyes closed, reluctant to open them. She already missed her peaceful sleep, considering it was so hard to come by.
She laid, unmoving, as she tried to go back to sleep, but eventually, she heard Dean sigh—loudly and a bit overdramatized.
"Hey, Katie-Kat," he said in a smug tone and she could tell he was smirking. He knew 'Katie-Kat' wasn't any better than 'Kitty-Kat'. They were equally horrible!
Katie opened her eyes tiredly and rolled them. "You're a Moron," she mumbled up at him, glaring through her hazy gaze.
He laughed. "Come on. Wakey, wakey." he urged, nudging her leg again.
"Ugh, no! It's too early for you to be talking," she grumbled and closed her eyes again, falling back against the seat.
"If you get up, I promise I'll get you some donuts," he bribed.
