•HUNTERS HELPER•
Katie and the brothers sat at some local bar not long after eating at a little diner down the street. To say the least, dinner was uncomfortable, and a tad bit awkward.
Katie barely paid attention to the brother's while she picked at her food—not all that interested in eating considering her mood. However, when they managed to grab her attention all they'd receive in response was a weak smile, a harsh glare, or she'd just shrug them off completely—even though most of the time it was Dean who managed to get a response . . . unknowingly to him, the reasons behind Katie responding weren't pleasant.
The steady aggravation she felt towards Dean was something she was unable to shake. It confused her in more ways than one . . .
So instead, Katie found herself focusing on her surroundings. The bar was loud and surprisingly packed full of people for being a Thursday night. They all steadily inched past the point of sober, but unlike Sam and Dean, Katie joined them.
She listened to the drunken strangers with interest, tuning into the drama and petty banter every now and then. It was a feeble attempt at drowning out her thoughts considering her mind was so preoccupied as of late. It raced with unanswered questions about her nightmare and why it's reoccurred. It wasn't out of the ordinary that she had similar dream's, but they were never the same, and she couldn't help but think it was strange . . .
