Ten years ago
Stumbling drunk down an unpaved road was not how I saw the night of graduation going, but I guess without a magic ball no one can see the future. I took the last sip of the bottle before throwing it to the ground behind me. Hearing the smash of glass made me chuckle as I kept walking, well trying to at least. My vision was doubled, and it felt like my body was as light as a feather. Humming to myself I looked up at the sky seeing the stars perfectly, the night sky was completely clear tonight. Not a cloud in sight, sighing I looked around to see the baseball field our school used to use before it merged all schools together. Smiling I stumbled over towards the bleachers, hiccupping I sat down on the lowest level looking out at the old field. The once well-kept dirt field was no longer, there was trash thrown all throughout the field. The grass in the outfield was growing higher each year it was left alone. Like most things in the city once lowside was brought into the mix things were shut down. Left abandoned.
I sighed and my vision started to make me dizzy, I laid my back on the bleacher, looking up at the sky once more. Humming to myself I closed to my eyes just to try and clear my head and get hold of my drunken state.
I felt a hand under my back as I was lifted from the hard bleacher, opening my eyes slowly I see a disoriented figure just as they put their arm under my legs. Closing my eyes again to try and clear my vision, I open them to see Nico is the one carrying me. "Whatareyoudoing?" I heard myself slur, his body vibrated against me as he laughed and continued to carry me.
"Don't worry princess, I'm just bringing you home." He said and I couldn't keep my eyes open, I heard a door open and soon felt the cushion of a seat under me, forcing my eyes open I looked around to see I was in what looked like that car from that show about the two brothers fighting monsters or whatever it was. Nico quickly as I tried pushing myself up, shutting his door he looks at me as he starts the car. "Do I have to put your seat belt on, or can your drunken self manage?"
Raising my hand, I moved my fingers trying to put them down so I could flip him off, when I failed a few times, I waved him off causing him to laugh and reach around me. "HEY!" He laughed again and pulled the seatbelt around my chest before buckling it in. "Jesus you're pretty shitted."
"Your shitted" I managed to say without slurring my words, "Whatever you say princess." I laid my head back against the seat as my drunken state took over again, closing my eyes I heard soft music playing over the speakers in the car.
I felt my body being slowly shaken as I heard Nico saying something quietly, "We're here. You think you can walk?"
"Huh?" He sighed as I opened my eyes to see him reaching around me again and I pushed at him, "Getway from me!" He chuckles as he undoes my seatbelt and steps back from me, "Fine. Walk yourself up." I glared, or at least I think I did and started getting out of his car, my feet decided they didn't want to move the way I wanted, I tripped over my foot and fell into Nico who was standing by the door holding it open. He wrapped his arm around my waist as he I fell into his chest. "OW!"
He sighs again as he bends and scoops me up in his arms, "It's alright. I got you princess. Let's get you inside." Groaning in protest he carries me up the stairs to the trailer and sets me down once again, "Do you have your keys?"
Shrugging, he sighs and looks around us. Raising my eyebrow, I watch as he pulls something out of his pocket. Gravity feels like its pushing me down, so I lean against the trailer as he kneels in front of the door. Taking a few deep breaths as I feel my stomach do a few flips, "I'm going to be sick." I push off from the trailer before leaning over the porch and puke up everything in my system. Once it feels like my throats on fire I groan and fall back against the trailer, looking down at Nico he frowns but smiles quickly standing. He pulls the door open, and I raise my eyebrow, "How? Nope never mind." He chuckles as he holds his hand out for me, slapping it away I go to walk but stumble again, causing him to groan as he throws his arm around my waist and helps me inside the trailer. "Where's your room?" Slapping at his arm I push away from him and stumble my way to the couch in the dark. "Fuck you."
