"I'll be back in a half hour Ben, I just need to go to the bank." Ben waved Von off not even sparing him a glance as he went over the paperwork in front of him.
Von took the elevator upstairs to his room before tying his hair up, grabbing his backpack.
Today he had an appointment with the bank to finally set up an account. It was a small accomplishment but it meant everything to Dayvon. At his age of 26, this was his very first time having an account. For the first time in his life, he was going to swipe a card that actually belonged to him. And he as so proud of himself.
His chest began to tighten as he noticed the money he kept in his bag was gone.
He decided before he panicked, to see if Saavia beat him to the bank.
He sent her a quick text before distracting himself with the television, not wanting to overthink.
But her response immediately sent his body into panic mode.

He checked under the bed, the bathroom and behind the tv.
