It doesn't happen often. It usually was more subtle but gradually now that they didn't have to be in fear 24/7.

It was like drowning.
The more you breathe the more it felt like you're suffocating. It also felt like burning in some way but it was confusing as it is since it was related to emotions.

It was during these days that getting out of bed seemed to be a lot of work and even thinking seemed to amount so much.

" Ray wake up! " Emma yelled, shaking him rather violently on the bed. Ray groaned and sat up to look at Emma. She had toast on her mouth and her hair was wrapped around with a towel.

Ray looked around and didn't see Norman. He groaned once more before laying down.

" Rayyy!!! " Emma whined, shaking him once more.

" Ray it's time to get up. " Norman's cool and soft tone washed over Ray's head. Sometimes he felt like Norman is a nerve calming drug in a form of a human and Emma was an adrenaline booster in a form of a gorilla strengthen human.

Ray grumbled before opening his eyes to look at them. The two stared at him in confusion as he didn't wanna sit up. His eyes softened at the sight of his most precious treasures before he closed his eyes again.

He felt like he was dreaming and when he wakes up he'll be back at the house again.

He wishes he never wakes up.

He wishes that hell was as calming as this dream he has since he'll never be in heaven for all the things he had done.

" Ray...? " Norman spoke up once more. He placed a hand on Ray's cheek and immediately blinked his eyes in surprise when Ray leaned to his touch. He looked over to Emma before she shrugged at the silent question Norman gave her.

" Ray, are you feeling okay? " Emma questioned. She did the same as what Norman did and placed her hand on Ray's other cheek. Ray's hand soon lift up to hold both of their hands on his, while still letting them touch his cheeks. He leaned towards their touch and pressed their palms on his cheeks more.

He likes that they're warm. It meant that they were alive. It meant that he hasn't Failed yet.

He still killed his siblings though.

A monster that came from a monster.

He let out a shaky breath before slowly letting them go and turning his body over. He turn to buried his face on the pillow before he fell asleep.

Norman and Emma eyed each other in a silent message that Ray was acting weird. " Emma I might have to not attend classes today. " Norman informed as he started to take off his uniform immediately pleased that he wore his white shirt underneath.

Emma nod her head. " Me too. Ray doesn't seem like himself if we leave now we won't know what he'll do. I mean I feel like I'm unwell and will have a fever later. "  Emma took off the towel on her head and went to the bathroom to change back to something comfortable.

Norman sighed and took out his phone. He texted someone before discarding his phone on the nightstand. He glanced over to Ray before going back to the bed. He lifted the covers up and tucked himself in bed.

" Ray... " Norman called out. He tried to pull Ray away from the pillow and he was able to do so.
" Ray look over here please? " He turned Ray over to let him face him but instead. Ray faced his chest, the ravenette soon buried his face on his chest and grabbed a fistful of his shirt.
