{The next day}

Spencer

I wait for Aaron to get up and decide to start with making him breakfast. When he does get up and decide to join me in the kitchen, I have everything minus the bacon done. "Sit down. There is coffee for you already on the table." I say and then go back to what I was doing.

When I finish up with cooking the bacon, I move it all onto a plate and bring it over to the table. "You didn't have to do that for me."  Aaron says and I shake my head.

"You have to take care of yourself, and it is my job to make sure that you are okay during this time." I go back to the kitchen and set everything aside to cool off before washing it. I grab myself a cup of coffee and go over to the table and pick my book up out of the chair I sat it in earlier.

"Spencer." He says.

"Huh?"

"Eat." He says and I look up at him.

"I'm fine. You need it worse than I do, and I'm here for you." I look back at my book and continue reading it and occasionally taking a drink of coffee. I ignore everything around me for the most part and get drawn back from the world of words by a kiss from Aaron.

"Are you here now Spencer?" He asks and I feel myself blush instantly.

"Y yup."

"I asked if you needed to go home to grab something or not?" He asks.

"No I'm fine with what I have." A knock is heard at the door and I stand up. Aaron grabs my hand and shakes his head.

"Spencer, Hotch?" Penelope says from the other side of the door and Aaron lets go of my hand. He goes to the alarm to get read and shut it off as I unlock the door and let Penelope inside.

"What are you doing here Penelope?"

"I came to check on you both. Also Papa is in the car and wanted me to let you know that we're going to pick up your new car." She says.

"My what?"

"New car. He and Dad got you a new car and got it checked off with your insurance company to make sure everything was good before getting it." She says.

"Well tell them I say thank you." She nods and looks at Aaron.

"I'm fine Garcia. You don't have to worry about me." Aaron says.

"I don't care. I still care about you and everyone is worried about you." She says.

"You can assure them that I'm fine. Spencer has been keeping me good company. Is Anderson taking time off?" He asks.

"Ya he took time off. Gina is staying with him like Spencer is doing you." She says. Aaron nods and walks back to grab his cup of coffee and I look back at Penelope. "So how's it going?" She asks.

"Shut up."

"Why?" She asks and grins.

"You know exactly why."

"Oh whatever could you mean? I haven't the slightest idea as to what you are talking about." She says.

"Sure you don't. You have no idea and yet you keep asking when we're alone." She smiles and then checks her phone. "I should be going." She says.

"Bye Garcia." He says and she waves.

"Bye Sir, bye Spencer." She says.

"Bye Penelope." I shut the door behind her and Aaron sets the alarm again.

"So what was that about?" He asks.

"Nothing. Just a little thing between us is all."

"Alright. Hey do you mind if I show you some of Jack's old things?" He asks and I nod my head. He walks out of the room to go and get them before returning. We walk over to the couch and sit down. He looks at the the things displayed on the table.
