Let's go home

{4 weeks later}

Aaron

Spencer has completely shut down since last week and he won't even talk to Penelope or Dave.

I'm okay with him shutting the rest of us out, but to cut of his family off is just asking for trouble.

"Hotch, Reid. We're all heading back, don't stay here all night." JJ says and I nod before giving them all a dismissive wave.

Everything is quiet with the acceptation of page turning and a marker squeaking ever so often. Suddenly is starts raining and I look out the window to see how bad it is.

"I'm going to step outside for a little bit and get out of this station for a moment to enjoy the rain."

I get up and walk out for a moment to enjoy the rain. One of my guilty pleasure, that I've never made an effort to hide.

I suddenly get hugged from behind and I tense ever so slightly until I see Spencer's arms around me.

"Hey, are you okay?"

"I'm sorry." He says and I turn around and hug him.

"What for? You haven't anything to be sorry for."

"I shut everyone out. Despite telling you that I would talk with you and Penelope. I'm sorry." He says and I sigh.

I lift his chin up and kiss him. This is such a cliche, where the couple is kissing out in the rain near the end of a romantic movie.

"How are you doing?"

"I just want this to be over." He says and I kiss him again.

"I know. We all do, but I need you to talk to someone as well."

"I know. Aaron there's a place I need to go to tomorrow." He says and looks away from me. He voice seemed to drop off and I'm not sure I like where this is going.

"If you're asking to go alone the answer is no."

"I'm not. I want you to come with me." Spencer says and I run a hand through his hair.

"I will. We should probably get back inside before we catch cold. It's about time we get back to the hotel as well."

He nods and we walk hand in hand back inside and shut everything off before waving to the night shift and heading to the SUV.

{At the hotel}

I get ready to walk into my room when Spencer grabs my hand. I turn and look at him confused and he pulls up me sleeve.

"Aaron, please don't do this again tonight." He says and I pull him close. I wasn't planning on it. Do you want to stay with me tonight?"

"Please?" He asks and I pull him into the room with me. I lock the door and we both undress, before lying in bed.

"I love you, so goddamn much. God you're beautiful."

Spencer

I blush and turn away from Aaron. He chuckles a bit at this and I can't help but smile. Both of his arms wrap around me and he kisses the back of my neck.

"A Aaron...." I cut myself off as he kisses down my back. Such a simple action but I forget about all of my worries every time.

"What is it Baby?" Aaron arks as we whispers in my ear.

"What's with all the teasing?"

"You cute me off and didn't tell me when there was something eating away at you." He says and I take that opportunity to get the upper hand and move us so I'm on his lap.
