It was a windy day at school. Everyone wasn't really excited about the science quiz today, except for Rocky. He had determination in his pup heart that he would get an A+ on his quiz. I mean, he is a really smart pup, so he's got this in the bag.
Joshie: *sighs* ooooohhhh
Rocky: you ok Joshie?
Joshie: I'm not going to be able to get an A
Rocky: hey, it's ok Joshie. I know that you are going to do great on your quiz
Joshie: I..I'm am?
Rocky: yeah, you're smart. We both are and I know in my heart that my brother can Ace this quiz
Joshie: thanks Rocky
Rocky: no problem pal
Mr. Wilson: alright guys, ready for your quizzes?
Rocky: I was born ready! Lay the quiz on me bro
Joshie: *gulps* I..I guess
Mr. Wilson: you ok bud?
Joshie: I don't want to fail
Mr. Wilson: hey, that's ok Joshie. It doesn't have to be perfect
Joshie: well, ok then I'm ready
Mr. Wilson handed out the quizzes for the both of them and they quickly started. Joshie didn't know what he was doing, but he still kept on going. As they finally finished, Mr. Wilson came over to them to collect their quizzes. Joshie was nervous for him to take it.
Mr. Wilson: like I said bud, it's not gonna be a big deal, ok?
Rocky: I'm sure you did excellent pal
He took the quizzes to his desk to grade them, while Joshie waited nervously for his quiz. Rocky though knew he was gonna get an A no matter what. However......
Mr. Wilson: sooooo....... Joshie got an A-
Rocky: that's good at least, right buddy?
Joshie: yeah! What did Rocky get?
Mr. Wilson: *gulps* an F
Rocky: oh that's...............AN F!!!?!??!!!!
Joshie: WHAT!!!???!!
Mr. Wilson: yeah, I'm really sorry Rocky
Rocky was in tears as he ran out of the classroom, crying. Joshie didn't like seeing his brother in tears, but there was nothing he could do to help. The only thing he could do was to help cheer up his brother, hoping that they could forget about what happened.
At a ice cream truck.
Joshie: here's your vanilla ice cream bud
Rocky: thanks pal. You know, this is actually making me feel better
Joshie: your very much welcome buddy
After getting back home, Rocky realized he'll have to tell his parents about his F.
Rocky: j.. Joshie? Our parents aren't going to appreciate that I got an F
Joshie: oh, we can't lie to them about it. Your gonna have to tell them the truth
Rocky: but then.......*closed his eyes while tears dropped out* they'll call me a..a failure of a s..son *sniffs*
Joshie: aww Rocky, they would never. We both know that our parents are really nice people. They never call you a failure of a son
Rocky: *wiped away tears* you sure?
J&R Mother: of course we wouldn't
Rocky: *gasps* Please don't!!!!!!
J&R Mother: what's wrong sweetheart?
Rocky: *started to cry*
J&R Mother: oooohhh Rocky, sweetie*hugs him*
Rocky: I ..I'm a horrible s...son *tears flowing*
J&R Mother: no no no honey, your not a horrible son sweetheart. I heard that you got an F on your quiz, and yes its not a good thing, but that doesn't mean your a horrible son
Rocky: *sniffs* I...it doesn't?
J&R Father: nope, I got an F on my quiz and test, but I just walked it off
J&R Mother: you always do honey
They started giggling and soon, Rocky started feeling much better.
J&R Mother: we love you sweetheart
Rocky: I love you too mom, dad, and brother
They all hugged with Rocky knowing, things weren't really all that bad after all. Even if it was just an F.
