Charles skilfully carried me through the corridors, opening doors without breaking a stride and flopping me down on the bed before immediately hovering over me.

Our heavy breaths intertwined as he pressed his lips to mine and I instinctively opened to allow him further access, still tasting the sweet wine on his tongue from earlier.

We lay like that for a few minutes before I had to get up to take my makeup off and get ready for bed, pulling on one of Charles' T-shirts and crawling back in beside him

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him as he stared off into space
"Just about how lucky I am everything's fallen in to place. I'm so lucky to have you" he stroked my cheek as he stared down at me

A knock at the bedroom door caused the both of us to tense and Charles sat up, protectively shielding me in anticipation of who was at the door

"Are you finished? Is it safe to come in?" Arthur's voice came from behind the door
"Oh my god I thought he left, we watched him leave" I whispered to Charles, mortified that his younger brother had heard us having sex as he just laughed
"Yes Arthur, it's safe" Charles shouted back to him before the door opened and Arthur came in with his hand covering his eyes.
