We had been walking for what felt like hours, but was probably more like ten minutes at the most. Between the glaring fluorescent lighting and the sweat beading on my forehead, I felt like I was losing my mind.

"I mean," Dustin spoke up. "You have to admit, as a feat of engineering alone, this is impressive."

"What are you talking about?" Steve shook his head. "It's a total fire hazard. There's no stairs, there's no exit, there's just an elevator that drops you halfway to hell."

"They're Commies." Erica pointed out. "You don't pay people, they cut corners."

"To be fair to our Russian comrades, I don't think this tunnel was designed for walking." Robin said. "Think about it, they designed the perfect system for transporting their cargo."

"It all comes into the mall like any old delivery." Dustin agreed.

"And then they load it up onto those trucks and nobody's the wiser." Robin said.

"You think they built this whole mall just so they could transport that green poison?" Steve asked.

"I very seriously doubt it's something as boring as poison." Dustin remarked. "It's gotta be much more valuable, like promethium or something."

"Prometha-what?" I questioned.

"Promethium." Dustin said simply, not answering my questions at all. So, Robin added, "It's what Victor Stone's dad used to make Cyborg's bionic and cybernetic components."

"You're all so nerdy it makes me physically ill." Erica clutched her stomach.

"No, no, no." Steve shook his head quickly. "Don't lump me in with them. I'm not a nerd, all right?"

"Yeah, me neither." I scrunched up my nose. "We're the cool ones."

"What's so bad about being a nerd?" Robin asked. "Afraid you'll lose some cool points?"

"No, I'm just saying I don't know jack shit about Prometheus." Steve explained.

"Promethium." Dustin corrected him. "Prometheus is a Greek mythological figure but whatever. All I'm saying is, it's probably being used to make something."

"Or power something." Robin offered.

"Like a nuclear weapon?" Dustin theorized.

"Totally." Robin spoke with wonder in her voice, but I wasn't so amused.
