A Favor Asked

"Hey, do you think we can talk? Outside the apartment?" Zadi asks Mischa after tapping her on the shoulder.

"Sure," Mischa says.

"Where are you going, Sis?"

"Zadi and I need some air, we'll be upstairs," Mischa says.

Jessa nods, knowing that Mischa will tell her the truth later.

"What's going on?" Mischa asks as they walk onto the roof.

"How about I ask you that question," Zadi says.

"Nothing is going on, why would you think something is going on?"

"Lions can sense these types of things."

"I just got a lot on my mind and the biggest thing Jessa or the pack wouldn't believe me," Mischa says twiddling her thumbs.

"It's about Brax isn't it?"

"How'd you know?"

"I could tell he was acting a little stranger after the fight with Elda."

"Do you think you could watch him?"

"Sure, I'll do anything to help you guys."

"Now we just have to deal with Jae possibly relapsing," Mischa says.

"What do you mean relapse?"

"You remember the rumor that the Faerie door appeared?"

"Yeah."

"Jae went in it and gave magic to Faerie, now we have to be careful with any suspicious door."

"Got it."

Mischa transforms, only bringing her ears out.

"What is it?"

"Some humans have bags from the art museum."

"Why are you worried about the art museum?" Zadi asks.

"It's not the museum, it's the exhibit. It sounds like it's about doors," Mischa says.

One of the doors a human describes as their favorite sounds like the door to Faerie.

"Is that Jae?" Zadi points.

Mischa turns her attention to the person Zadi pointed to, the melody that they are humming sounds like the one from Faerie.

"Oh no, that is Jae. Shift, use the roofs, and follow her. Make sure she doesn't go into any doors and I mean any doors," Mischa says.

"On it," Zadi says before shifting and running to the next rooftop to follow Jae.
