Part 8: Amelia's first mission on the field

(Author's Pov): Location, outskirts of Netherlands...

Last night, the Autobots & The N.E.S.T. team had gotten a Decepticon signal, coming from the outskirts of the Netherlands, and were preparing one another for the battle they were about to face but, the problem was someone needed to volunteer in the mission. And that person was none other than Amelia herself, she has been looking at a few of the new soldiers that arrived from Iraq and Afghanistan, and she couldn't wait to see how the missions start, this is her first official day on the field, at least for now. It seems like Amelia will get to meet lots of new people and so far so good. She liked the people she is living with at the base, they were great storytellers and some were ready for retirement, gets onto her uniform and heads out with the rest by shouting: "I'm ready! Let's go, go, go!" With the amount of energy she had, Amelia didn't realize that the others were frowning, because they didn't want a 19-year-old woman who is reckless and bright to get traumatized by what is to come. On the helicopter, she sat next to Sunstreaker's ALT-MODE and glared at every single man for getting near his paint job, Sides, Ironhide, the Arcee twins, and other picked cybertronian members are around. 

Looks out the window and was amazed by the sky and clouds, once landing on the outskirts of the Netherlands, the Autobots got up and roll out as everyone does their part in the mission, Amelia was excited that she immediately got up and mentally reminded herself: 'Remember, avoid getting killed, and just follow the order! Okay, let's start.' Then it began.

Shoot. 

Run. 

Hide.  

Find the target.

Hide.

Run.

Shoot.

The cycle of every soldier's mission on the battlefield starts repeating itself like clockwork, no one dared to stop the shots and bloodshed happening to every single human soldier minus the cybertronians, they know where they can keep themselves safe from harm; With great senses and sharp hearing, the Autobot Front-Liner goes rampage and kills every Decepticons for every human soldier to pass through so no one would miss the target. Amelia smirked and shouted, "YOU CAN DO IT, SUNSTREAKER!?!" Immediately takes out her earbuds from her pocket by playing "Confident by Demi Lovato", she takes a slow deep breath before she started shooting and ran to hide behind the oak trees recklessly; Not caring about listening to orders coming from Lennox, she takes the initiative of the missions in her own hands to ensure that no one misses the target.

The Autobots easily take down several Decepticons while Lennox and the rest are attacking the other surviving Cons by keeping everyone safe from any enemy soldiers. They all managed to destroy the main shield from protecting the energon cubes so they can survive another day, which made it the first energy planet to collapse due to a fail-safe virus in it. Amelia took a quick break to grab her bottle of water while the explosions keep on coming, she drank it all before jumping down the hills, puddles, and rocks cracking under her boots, "They should have installed Energon detectors before the Cons can get it first, just to prevent this from happening." Mirage commented loudly in the comlink as Lennox came down from Ironhide and continued shooting, as most of them were running away. He came down behind Lennox, asking for a team-up before they made their final assault on the trailers.

Lennox looked at him and asked, "Are you sure it would be that much better if we stuck together?" Mirage answered, "We could have easily done it on our own, however..." He waited for him to go on, hoping that he'll tell him something interesting. He doesn't want to know how the hell they're going to destroy the energon cubes without a weapon. However, Mirage didn't say anything. "I thought you said that you have the plan?" Lennox asked, more puzzled than ever. "I do." Mudflap came in after hearing them and raised an eyebrow. "What?" Mirage shrugged. "It was that obvious to all of us?" Lennox chuckled. "I guess we all got the idea eventually, didn't we?" Mirage stared at him, knowing what he was trying to do. "You're not going to get anything from me. Amelia just got it covered."
