Part 10: Swore the truth but nothing but the truth

"What else are we supposed to do now?" 

"Lie to zhe twins about your meeting with Ratchet soon?"

 "Can't I tell the truth that Lennox ordered us to go on a spy mission with you, Dino?"

"No. We cannot leave any trace of our mission until it is done, pluz the fact that you're acting skills are half-matched." Dino bluntly spoke while reading the mafia files of each family, glancing at me, where I sat in disturbance of the silence I rolled my eyes before staring at the window of a private jet; Oh? Wondering how this came in an unexpected turn of events well, it started a few weeks ago...

__Flashback__

After the whole ordeal of watching Ironhide brutally hunt down the Gremlin twins for pranking their pink sparkle paintballs, it caused me to laugh hard that I forgot about Sunstreaker and Sideswipe's training, I had to stop myself before I make things worse. I sighed, "Those gremlins will never EVER change, but that's the way it is." Sitting still at the end of the metal stairs, when I felt a sharp pain in my head as it aches from the amount of emotions taking a toll on me as I take a look at my Autobot mark that had just moved to the next body part yesterday (which is my arm) before realizing that it had just shrunk to a small size. 'Okay, what is happening to my autobot tattoo? Primus, give me a hint or something?' Mentally got scared that I might disappear into thin air, and be forgotten and it is one of the scariest things because I was getting to love my new life. "You ready, Lennox?" Optimus said as the room was filled with silence, confused about what is about to happen to me, I heard a cough coming from Lennox: "Amelia. He continues, "Will you promise to not tell this mission to anyone?" 

"Huh? What kind of mission-Wait! I get to go on my first mission, alone?" Almost excited, until he broke down the news by telling me, "Yes and No." My hopes crashed into million pieces, and I slouched lazily on the chair with a pout. Then Optimus began to explain the details to me in a firm tone: "You'll be escorting Dino on a very important spy mission in Montalcino, Tuscany to find out what the mafia has been doing behind the government's back, we need you both to act as siblings." More explanations of the spy mission was a ringing of excitement in my ears, as Dino points out, "Which means, Amelia... He continues to sit down in front of me, "I need you to wear green contact lenses, in order to make this mission easier. 

"More importantly, no one needs to know that you're going with me, not even Sunstreaker or Sideswipe, just me, Lennox, Ratchet & Optimus."  It took me a matter of minutes to process this, I jumped from my seat and slammed my hands on the meeting desk in anger, I was fuming at Optimus and Lennox but not Dino, so I questioned: "Are you trying to make me LIE TO MY FRIENDS?" "Giving the chance to notice Sunstreaker stalking you behind your back, we thought it was best for you to be safe and away from him." Lennox commented, I turned to Optimus and crossed my arms, "Sunstreaker can stalk all he wants, I continue, "Plus! if you guys try to torture him in any possible way then think again." "Amelia, we are trying to" "Protect me? Please, I can handle myself, Lennox."

We kept arguing for who knows how long until I gave up and left the private meeting with Dino following me, "I can't believe this!" I exclaimed with a frown, "Well, we better zet going, 'Sorella' or we will miss our private jet in 6 hours." Dino leaves by nudging me to pack my stuff, cursing under my breath I shook my head a bit, walking to my dorm with anger in my eyes but my mind is drawn in many directions with many thoughts coming to my mind: 'What could this mafia mission be? What will I be doing there? Who will be the targets? How would I be able to act normal in society if I am an honest person?...F*ck it! I can do this!' No one saw me pack my stuff, I left by leaving a note in Sunstreaker's room for letting him know that I won't be at the base and will be busy with school stuff.
