What are you doing here?" Justin frowned, holding his bedroom door open with an annoyed look after being interrupted while studying.

Percy smiled mischievously, "Eren let me in. What, am I not allowed to visit my boyfriend?"

Justin rolled his eyes as he shook his head, "You should've texted first, I'm busy." he said as he walked back to his desk, leaving the door open.

"Dude, it's cool," Percy replied, inviting himself in and laying on Justin's bed, "I'll just wait til you're done."

"Why? Who says I even want you here?" Justin muttered, flipping his pencil around his fingers as he thought of the answer to the equation.

Percy got up from the bed and walked over to Justin, softly lifting Justin's head towards him before leaning down and kissing the younger teen.

"You did, with the texts you sent me last night." Percy answered with a grin before pushing Justin hair back and kissing his forehead.

Justin shrugged Percy's hand off his shoulder, "Stop that. And stop calling me your boyfriend, we aren't dating."

Percy crossed his arms and sat on Justin's desk, "No? Why not? We could be dating, if only you'd say yes." the blue-haired adult replied.

"Because Percy," Justin sighed, biting the eraser on his pencil and looking at his friend, annoyed, "I've seen the relationships you've been in before."

"What is that supposed to mean?" Percy asked, dropped the faux Californian accent and letting his real New Jersey accent through.

Justin looked up at him, "The girls you're with, you tell 'em you love them but once they start to get serious- you leave them." he shook his head, "That's not gonna be me."

Percy closed his eyes and sighed, "J, I've known you since 8th grade. Every single year since then... I've seen the way you look at me."

Justin almost dropped his pencil, was it always that obvious? "If you knew, why did you wait until now to say something?" the blond asked, his voice lowered itself into an almost whisper.

"Seriously? Justin, we're 4 years apart, you just became legal, so what did you want me to say? 'I know you like me and I like you too but you're still a minor so we gotta wait'? Is that what you wanted?" Percy pointed out, slightly raising his voice from how distressed he was.

Justin froze, realising Percy was right.
"And the girls, they were never who I wanted to be with in the first place. Of course I wouldn't stay with them when they wanted to get serious." Percy reached over and cupped Justin's chin, lifting his head.

"You're the one I want to be with. You're the one I've wanted to be with for years, I won't hurt you." the 22-year-old reassured him with a small smile, which was out of character for his usual cocky grin.

Justin huffed as he rolled his eyes and turned his attention back to his studies, "Fine. I'll be done in 20 minutes and then you're gonna show me just how much you've wanted me all these years."

Percy grinned and hopped off the desk, kissing Justin's lips softly with a peck, "I'll be gentle."

"Where did you find that?" Ryojin asked, closing his laptop and looking closely at the photo on the phone.

"It was on your Instagram. Who is she?" Landon replied, glancing at the picture again and feeling jealousy in his chest.

Ryojin sighed, "Jung Nari, my ex-wife, Jackie's mom. Why?"

"Cause she's the reporter who told me Jake was out of jail." Landon answered, putting his phone back in his pocket.

"What? Where did you see her?" Ryojin grabbed Landon's shoulders and held him a little too tightly.

Landon's shoulders were tense from being binded behind his back and above his head multiple times in the past few weeks, so he winced under the pressure of Ryojin's grip.

"I-in Manhattan. She knew my name and she told me Jake was released." Landon replied, looking up at Ryojin with a small hint of fear in his eyes.

Ryojin realized Landon was whimpering softly in pain and let him go, *"I'm sorry," he said in Korean, not looking at Landon but instead at his own hand- specifically the tattoo of the heart.

*(He said 죄송합니다{joisonghabnida} which is formal, as opposed to 미안해 {mianhae} which is casual)

That tattoo..."The date on your tattoo, March 2nd, 2007... is that for her?" Landon asked, reaching forward to hold Ryojin's hand but the older man instinctively pulled away.

Landon was surprised, he wasn't sure how to react. "Ryojin, I..." the blond paused, he didn't know what to say and he felt lost.

Finally Ryojin answered, "It's her birthday. I was going to get it covered but I never could." he replied.

"W-what happened between you two? I know you got divorced but...why?" Landon stood up and sat beside Ryojin on the couch.

Ryojin didn't respond, he was lost in thought and didn't seem to hear Landon speaking.

"Ryojin?" Landon called, furrowing his eyebrows, "Hyung, talk to me. Ryojin, are you okay?"

some time ago

"Oppa?"
Ryojin looked over to where the voice came from, instantly noticing the younger girl with short blond hair.

It was unusual for Koreans to have naturally blond hair, which is what drew him to her. How unusual she was from all the other hoobae* at his school.

"Nari hoobae-nim, you called me?" Ryojin asked, continuing to walk to class with the shorter girl following him.

Nari shook her head, "You weren't listening, I called to get your attention. Not because I wanted you."

That was another thing that made Nari different, she never used polite speech even when speaking to sunbaes* or her own elders.

She used casual speech for everyone, from a professor to a small child.
She blamed her being raised in Canada as for why she lacked manners.

"If you don't want me, why are you bothering me?" Ryojin pointed out with a cheeky smirk.

Nari scoffed, "Oppa, you really are a despicable person." she exclaimed before walking faster to get away from Ryojin, even though they were going to the same class.

Ryojin sighed with a smile, he really did like this sunbae.

*hoobae- Korean honourific term used for anyone who is of lower status than you at school or work

*sunbae- Korean honourific term used for anyone who is of higher status than you at school or work

(these aren't age determined like hyung/oppa/noona/unnie... if someone younger than you is an upperclassmen, they will still be your sunbae and vice versa)
