"Goodmorning, my handsome boss!" Arm greeted Kongpob energetically. And, as expected he only got a humm as a response. Working for three years to this boss of his, Arm gotten use to the coldness of the CEO.

"The stock rates that i've told you to sort last week, where was it?" Kongpob asked, hanging his coat at the back of the chair. "Here, sir." Arm handed him the folder, "It wall all done, sir."

Kongpob picked the folder and started to review it. "Mn. You may leave now." Kongpob said, not sparing Arm a look. Arm nodded and quietly left the office, leaving the boss all alone.

3 hours had passed and the man was still working, nonstop. Signing papers, checking emails, and reading reports of his employees; nothing new.

On the another hand, there was Arthit sitting at his chair, holding a folder and was thinking whether he would go to the office or let his co-workers handle this matter

After a few minutes of deciding, Arthit finally got a courage to go to the office and knock at the CEO's door to report. "Come in!" The CEO said, with his cold and serious tone.

Arthit twisted the knob of the door and entered. He saw the CEO sitting at his desk, working tirelessly. He was wearing a glasses, and his eyes were glued to the computer, while his desk was in a mess with all the file folders and a thick stack of papers that was on top.

"Is there anything you need?" The CEO asked, without sparing him a look. "Well, i came to report about the additional details of the project." Arthit said and handed him the folder. Kongpob received the folder from him. "Mn. I will take a look at this, later." And then Kongpob added the folder into the file.

"You may leave now." He said, and continued to work. As Arthit got our of the office, he felt a sigh of relief. He thought that Kongpob would question him, as he always does and thankfully, he did not.

As he got back from the office, he went straight to their office to continue the work that was left. Thankfully, it was not many of them so there was no rush in between the work.

Arthit even managed to have a lunch on time with his co-workers. As usual, they've chatted while having their lunch and they did had a good time.

_____

It was already time to go home and a lot of workers were left already because of the bad weather. Unfortunately, Arthit was not one of them as he got out of the office a little later than others and when he got out, the rain was already pouring heavily.

And he had no other choice but to wait near the entrance to shelter from the rain since he had no umbrella with him.

10 minutes had passed, yet the rain was still heavy and the skies were already gray. He doesn't know when will it even stop. And to make the matter worse, Arthit already felt a little cold. Arthit started to caress his arms for warmth as the temperature was slowly getting colder.

However, he stopped when a black coat was place on his shoulders. He immediately looked at the man, next to him and there he was, the one and only CEO, Kongpob Suthilack.

"Why are you standing here? It was cold." The CEO asked, coldly but Arthit could still hear and feel the worry of the man between in those words. "I was waiting for the rain to stop." He replied.

"You don't have an umbrella?" He again asked. "Mn. I didn't know it would rain so i left the umbrella to my car."

Who even would think that it was going to rain heavily when it was bright and shine just this morning.

Kongpob didn't responded and just opened the umbrella he was holding and then, pulled Arthit near him. "What are you doing?" Arthit asked, shocked by the sudden act. "I'll take you to your car."

Kongpob and Arthit walked to the together, with the umbrella held by Kongpob's right hand, while his left was holding into Arthit's shoulder, making sure that there is no single drop of rain that would land into his shoulder.

Of course, Arthit was left with no choice but to go with this man. After all, his son was still waiting for him, and if he would wait at the entrance it would take a long time for the rain to stop.

"Thank you." Arthit said in shy and meek voice. Kongpob and Arthit stopped since they were already Infront of the car. "Welcome."

Kongpob assisted Arthit until he got into his car. "I'll get going now." Arthit said, "Thank you again, Kongpob."

And just like that, Arthit drove away, leaving the CEO behind, staring at the retreating car. He don't know why, but he feels happy. Maybe because he got to hold Arthit in his arms again?

After a roughly 50 mins of driving, Arthit finally arrived at the school. He was late today to pick Amaris up since the road was slippery and the rain was still going on.

He rushed inside Amaris’ classroom, and found him there sitting at his desk quietly reading a book. "Papa!" Amaris exclaimed as he lifted his head and saw Arthit.

"Papa is sorry, i kept you waiting." Arthit said, crouching down into his height. "Now go and grab your bag. We'll be going home." He said and Amaris followed his instruction.

Arthit then, looked at the teacher who was sitting at the teacher's desk. "I am going to take my son now, thank you for your patience."

The teacher smiled at him and responded; "It was okay, Mr. Rojnapat. In fact, Amaris was a good kid and was just reading the books from the shelf while waiting for you."

Arthit felt proud of his son, being praised Infront of him.

"Papa, let's go!" Amaris said. "We'll get going now. Thank you." Arthit wai'd to the teacher and then, went out with Amaris. He assisted his son into the car, and drove off.

It was completely dark when the Father-son got home. Thankfully, it was not raining heavily anymore. The usual routine started again; Arthit and Amaris changed their clothes, Arthit cooked dinner, they ate together then, Arthit cleaned up.

As Arthit was clearing things, after dinner when he saw the coat, lying on top of his bag by the couch. He grabbed the coat and stared at it for a while. Subconsciously, Arthit smiled, remembering how Kongpob put the coat on top of his shoulders when he was cold.

Maybe, Kongpob that he once known was different from what he is now, yet the feelings that he used to feel of how Kongpob treat him was still the same. Maybe, for Arthit; the only thing that remained the same in Kongpob's personally was how the man was caring and thoughtful.
