Kongpob had finally arrived at his house. He was supposed to be home this morning but due to the Chinese investors came, he had to come to the company.

"Your back." Aunty Ning said, greeting the owner at the door, "Mn." Kongpob hummed as a reply, dragging his suitcase with him inside.

"You are finally here." Kongpob heard a familiar voice of a woman. The heels of the woman was tapping, echoing to the ground, walking up to his direction. Soon, the woman was now Infront of him, arms crossed in her chest giving Kongpob a sweet smile. While as aunty Ning grabbed Kongpob's suitcase and took it upstairs, leaving the the two to talk.

"What are you doing here, Mae?" Kongpob asked his mother, Priya, "You never answered any of my calls that's why I personally came here." She answered her son. "You never told me you had a business trip."

"It slipped out of my mind." He responded coldly. "If you'll excuse me, I'll go back to my room." Kongpob said trying to make his way upstairs when he heard his mother called him saying, "Fang had told me you ditched your date. You made her wait for hours."

Kongpob turned around to face his mother, again. "Mae, i told you already. Stop setting me up for these kind dates that i never wanted." Kongpob told his mother, "Won't you just listen?"

"Kong, you are not getting any younger and i am doing this for your sake." His mother retorted, "If I'll grow old alone then so be it. I never actually planned on settling down with someone." He said to his mother, straight into her face. Kongpob turned around and walked up to his room leaving his mother who is now fuming in anger.

Kongpob doesn't really care at all. He is tired and doesn't have a plan to hold a long conversation with his mother. Afterall, their conversation would just turn into arguments if they still continued the conversation they had.

"Amaris, come." David called out his grandson who, happily came and welcomed him.

David had to ran some errands earlier this morning and he just came back at exactly lunch time. "Look what Khun Phu brought for you." David said, showing his grandson a big blue toy truck.

"For me?" Amaris' eyes sparkled, looking at his new toy. "Yes, for you." His grandfather smiled, ruffling his hair. "Do you like it?" He asked. Amaris looked at him, smiling and saying, "I love it! Thank you Khun Phu!" And then the little boy hugged his grandfather tight.

"Alright, that's enough you two. Lunch is on the table." Apinya said to her husband and grandson while she put the bowl of dishes she had prepared onto the dining table.

David lifted his grandson and carried him to the table and out him into his seat. The old couple sat down together at the table with their grandson and Apinya called her son to eat.

The family of four ate together, happily as they always does. The four of them shared a few topics while eating, making their lunch more livelier.

As usual, after lunch, Arthit and his mother cleaned the kitchen; while his father and son was at the living room, busy playing the toy David had bought for Amaris.

"Arthit," His mother called out, "I wanted to ask you something. It had been bugging me since the other day."

Arthit turned off the faucet and faced his mother, "What's up?" He asked. "I was wondering, since you and him have been seeing each other, do you ever thought of telling him about Amaris?" His mother asked him.

Arthit was silent for a moment before he answered, "I'll honest with you, Mae. There are some times that i had thought of it. I mean, i do wanted to give my son a complete and a happy family." Arthit paused for a second, "But, i am not ready yet to face him. I am not ready to tell him the truth. I don't even know when would i actually be."

His mother sighed and softly caressed his cheeks, "Arthit, i do get you, son. But don't you think they both deserves to know that they are related? I don't wanna to push you to tell him or what. But son, this is the reality you needed to face. Being a coward won't last long. There would always be the end of everything. So, I'll tell you what; tell to him the truth while you still have a chance. Who knows, maybe you won't get another chance to tell him everything, if ever."

Arthit held hi mother's hand and looked at his son before turning back to his mother, "I don't know Mae. I really don't know how." He said, "I don't know if i would ever have a courage to tell everything to him."

His mother gave him an assuring smile, "Don't talk something like that, you never know. Maybe, sooner or later you'll have a courage to tell him. But for now, try preparing yourself." Arthit smiled at his mother, "We'll always be here for you, whatever might happen in the future."

_____

After Arthit finished bathing his son, he grabbed a towel wrapped it on Amaris. "Dry up before going to bed." He said, ruffling his son's wet hair.

Arthit cupped his son's cheeks and planted some kisses all over his face. "Hahaha.....papa stop. It ticklish." Amaris said, playfully.

Arthit stopped his kisses and looked at his son's face. His smile faded slowly, remembering what he had said to his mother.

"I don't know if i would ever have a courage to tell everything to him."

Arthit bit his inner cheek as he stared at his son's face. The guilt started to eat him. His mother is right, the two deserves to know the truth.

But what can he do? Everytime he faced his son nor Kongpob, he doesn't have any courage to do so. As if the words completely banished into his mouth and nothing would come out.

"Papa?" Amaris called Arthit, Arthit immediately snapped out of his thoughts and asked, "What?"

"I'm done drying up." He said. Arthit gave his son a small smile and said, "Alright. Let's get you change then."
