There's knock on my office door and I don't answer
"Chris!" My boss says opening my office door
Sighing heavily, I switch on my charming white smile
"There's someone here to see you," she says and I nod my head
When she's gone my eyes go instantly back to my computer screen
"Chris," a broken defeated tone makes my head snap up
Stephanie is standing in front of me looking immaculate and pristine as usual
Apart from the red rings around her eyes and her tear stained cheeks
I turn back to my computer screen without saying a word
