The twins were the ones who were mostly confused as to why mummy and daddy are not staying together
"Don't worry guys, we're still a family," I tell them slathering them with kisses
I hope they're at that age where they still forget
A small part of me thinks they won't
It's just Lola and I again
Like old times
"Do you want me to make you some tea and crush all yours meds in?" Lola asks sweetly
I nod my head and go upstairs to my office
Lola comes in with my tea
"It's all in there for you but you're going to have to take the pink pill separately because that is a mess to crush up," she explains rolling her eyes
I tell her I love her
She tells me she loves me
"It'll just be like old times again," she states animatedly before twirling out of the office
My old times didn't consist of me dying
