I come home from work dejected and exhausted but the excitement of seeing Ericka, Jason and Lola keep me sane
As I enter my room I find Lola clutching some papers looking despondent and upset
My heart begins hammering really hard
She knows, she knows
"Why didn't you tell me you and Amber were divorcing?" She throws her arms up in the air and cocks her head to the side
A massive sigh of relief erupts from my veins
"We didn't want to stress you in this fragile time," I explain smiling softly and sitting beside her
Lola leans her head on my shoulder
"You will be keeping Ericka and Jason right? Can't lose my lovely adorable minions," says Lola as I wrap my arms around her waist
"Your brother and sister are not minions Lo," I chuckle squeezing her midriff
