"I don't think Lola likes me; she barely said anything to me," she says disheartened
I wrap my arm tighter around her waist feeling her growing belly
"Trust me she does, don't worry she seriously does, plus she took the baby news well," I comfort nuzzling her neck
She remains silent unconvinced and disturbed
Twisting around she gazes up at me through her green glittering eyes
"From what you tell me Lola can change her mind and decide to make my life hell," she furrows her brow
I chuckle slapping a kiss on her lips
"It's our first baby and I want everything to be perfect," she whispers tears glistening in her eyes
I stroke her cheek with the back of my index finger
"It will be perfect babe; we're not young and foolish anymore, we're adults," I reassure softly my voice low and smooth
She merely nods her head and twists around
I hear her cry in the middle of the night
