"Yelena! Go get me a Healer immediately! Arax, Note! Do you mind helping me with him?"

Kaspian effortlessly threw out orders, and we followed with ease.

The lone Adventurer nearly fell to the floor before I managed to catch him under a bed of Wind magic.

He coughed out multiple spurts of blood as I carried him to us.

"Everybody out of the way!" My voice boomed, vocal cords imbued with more Sound mana than I typically used.

The man's tired body gravitated toward us as I urged the bed of wind to me.

"State your name and what the hell happened," I ordered, a doctor reaching us.

"We'll need him in the infirmary to engage in immediate operations, Sir Adventurer," he stated frantically observing the visible injuries on his body.

"On it. And you?"

"M-my name is Yorick. I'm a B Class Augmenter. T-the party I was with and me, w-we were clearing a B Class dungeon like normal when we noticed a sudden boost in the mana beasts' strength and numbers.

There were so many of them, and they all looked different than normal beasts; they were way stronger than normal and looked dark gray. Even our tank only lasted a few hits.

We never stood a chance. I could only get away thanks to the diversion my party made before... All I can say now is that I swore I'd make it here even if it meant my death."

He gripped my arm weakly just as we walked into the infirmary and smiled.

"Get those little fuckers for me... for us."

His arm fell limp and my hand instantly went for his neck, checking for a pulse.

Nothing.

I sat him down onto an empty bed and balled my fist in a near-approaching rage.

"He's gone."

I walked out, on the verge of exploding in anger.

"Where are you going?" Kaspian asked.

"To make sure this doesn't happen again. Come on, Note. We're clearing that dungeon."

"Seriously? Alright, then. Jasmine, let's go." My brother walked forward to join me.

"Wait!" An authoritative voice stopped me, increasing my frustration.

I felt a hand grab my shoulder, and I knew it was Arthur trying to calm me down.

I took a deep breath, slowing the light on the fuse that was nearly about to blow.

"What? You gonna try and stop me?" I asked, turning to meet a coatless Kaspian Bladeheart slipping into a set of armor.

"No. I'll be joining you. Yelena, Mary, and Issac. Alert all available A Class Adventurers and higher that this is a Class 4 emergency and to meet us where Arax plants a beacon. We'll be going first."

He brandished an intricate rapier, sheathing it inside of a thin scabbard.

The three looked at me unsure.

"I'll make sure you can see it."

I slipped my hands into a pair of reinforced gloves and placed my trench coat inside my Spatial Bracer*.

*Like a Dimension Ring but better.

"If you can't find the light, sense the mana. I'm sure you'd be able to find it easy."
