❥Xiao's POV❦
I reached one of the peaks where I spotted the Adepti and Tartaglia and another guy with a mask hiding on the far end. Within the group of Adepti, I spotted none other than Morax -Zhongli.
I jumped off and went to join the Adepti.
"Morax-"
"You finally came." He cut me off.
"... I.." Was he waiting for me? What for?
"Y/n is gone. All that's left of them is an empty shell, full of Karmic Debt." Y/n.. And just like that, I remembered everything.
"You.. want me to kill them.?" I muttered whilst Morax simply nods. I can't kill them.. how could I..? They were everything to me..
Y/n emerges from the shadows across where I stood. Their eyes were dull and lifeless, skin so pale. Y/n looked like they had a bad day but that wasn't it. I glanced at Morax and he simply motioned me to go. And I did exactly that, but with a different intention. I want to bring you back.
As I walked towards them, a small smile seems to grow on Y/n's face as they whipped out their sword, and I did the same with my weapon for the sake of defending only.
"Y/n.." I started as they stride towards me, dragging their sword on the sandy floor. "I know you're still in there. Please.. just come out."
"Heh, you naive little thing. Y/n's gone, all that's left is your fear, your nightmare." Y/n lunged forward with their sword as I blocked with my spear. Little did I know, they whipped out their other sword a landed a blow on my arm.
".. You just.."
"Indeed I did my dear boy. But I think you would look pretty with more~" They threatened with an innocent voice. Pretty.. that's.. Y/n rushed in from the side as I dodge out of the way.
"Please Yn.. Come back to me.." And instead of doing that, Y/n manifested a dark orb, Adepti Art corrupted by Karmic Debt. There wasn't an ounce of light in that orb..
".. Y/n.. you have to go.. ... but let's go together.." I said with a smile as tears started to roll down my cheeks.
This time.. it was me who lunged at the other.. I took the chance when Y/n's sword was pointing towards me and plunge my spear in their heart while they plunged theirs in mine unexpectedly.
"Xiao!" Morax shouted.
Y/n's eyes were wide open as we locked eyes.
"..you just.. you.. why..?" Y/n stuttered, eyes widened with shock and disbelief, yet it still wasn't Y/n.
"I.. General Alatus.. free you.. from this world.. you won't be shackled.. down.. by Karmic debt.. but you won't be alone.. I'll go.. wherever you go.." Just when I finished, I stepped backwards to get the sword out of my chest so I could bleed out, and in turn pulled the spear out of them. I caught them mid fall before falling over myself.
"I love you.." I whispered in their ear as I held on to them tightly before black took over my senses.

❥3rd POV❦
Morax ran over to the fallen pair as the other Adepti followed suite.
He tried to awaken Adeptus Xiao, who only laid with a smile plastered on his tear-stained face, clasping onto Adeptus Y/n.
"One did not foresee this outcome.." Moon Carver bellowed.
"Yes.. One knew this was bound to occur. But not like this." Cloud Retainer added.
"Who knew the Conqueror of Demons had fallen so hard for Y/n.." Mountain Shaper pondered aloud.
No matter how hard one tries to separate the pair, they were inseparable.

"Tehehehe" A child runs across the room.
"Xaria! Stop running around! Your father is still sleeping." The figure with e/c eyes whispered loudly.
"Hmm.." A drowsy man came out from the bedroom, towards the other. He hugged them from the back which no doubt surprised them.
"Good morning Xiao." Xiao, nuzzles his significant other.
"Papa!" The young girl comes towards him as hugged his legs. Xiao released his significant other and bends down to carry the girl.
"Good morning, little sunshine. Good morning, my love." Xiao said as he kissed both on the head.
"Want some breakfast?"
"Why is that even a question, Y/n?" Xiao smirked.
"Aww I just wanna strike a conversation." Y/n pouted.
"Hehe, you really are a child."
