heya! welcome to my halloween special, AKA another fluffy set of headcanons!
for this headcanon chapter, I really wanted to focus on my own halloween experiences/stories, and incorporate them into cute experiences with the sumeru characters! (if you wanted to know, that's just my main inspiration for writing this)

Alhaitham
-dresses up as an inflatable anemo slime
-carries you around in his costume (which proves to be comfortable as the costume feels like a soft cushion)
-he reluctantly agrees to go trick or treating with you
-many surprised faces and weird looks later, you decide to go home
-you both watch The Nightmare Before Christmas, ignoring his questions about how logical the plot was
-let's not question what happens when you deflate the costume...
Tighnari
-dresses up as a green mushroom
-you both decide not to go trick or treating, instead giving treats to whoever pops up at your door
-he scares every single one of them, but ends up giving them treats afterwards
-it was at midnight when he had decided to remove his costume
-long story short, he couldn't (thanks to his ginormous ears and tail)
Collei
-you both pair up and wear f/n (fruit name) fruits
-she definitely goes trick or treating with you
-you send death glares down whoever looks to be trying to scare her (may sound dramatic but you know why you gotta do what you gotta do)
-you return to Gandharva Ville with four full buckets of candy (two buckets in your hands, two in hers)
-you sort it all out
-only then do you realize just how many bars of chocolate there are in the pile
-you call it a mission success, and you have a sleepover at her house
-you two didn't have any difficulties with your costumes
Cyno
-he refuses to dress up
-you decide to let him be, telling him you'd go hang out with alhaitham
-without a second thought, he immediately puts himself into a wolf costume and goes with you
-alhaitham and cyno give each other glares every now and then, but you decide to ignore it
-remind yourself to never put them on the same street ever again
-at one point cyno decided to entertain a few kids by using his vision and showing them cool magic tricks (like the very beloved costume glow trick, which we know to be him using Pactsworn Pathclearer, or his burst)
-you three went home with bags of candy and chocolate, in which cyno gave you most of his share (diabetes are a thing)
Dehya
-you both decide not to go trick or treating, but instead to go to a pumpkin carving contest
-dehya is skilled with claymores and swords, so carving wasn't exactly the most diffcult thing in the world for her
-you struggled a bit, but she helped you with the basics
-once you were finished, she put them outside and lit the pumpkins
-you both got many compliments from the other competitors
-she ended up winning, but gave you the prize since she wasn't really into giant chocolate pumpkins
-she walks you around the city, showing you all sorts of cool halloween festivities in the area
