Ch.17

-The Next day-

After my talk with Rin last night my mind started to wonder and I had a hard time sleeping. I take my time leaving due to having more time then usual. If only I could sleep longer.

I step out of the door and yawn as I lock it.

"You look tired dear." Yumi says from her porch. I turn to her.

"I feel it. I have to do what I have to do though."

She giggles "Yes you do. Good luck!"

I smile at her "Thanks."

I quickly make my way to my car and yawn once again.

Ooh boy

I listened to music while i drove to keep me awake although I'm not that tired that I would fall asleep at the wheel.

The ride took forever or so it felt like. Once arived I pull in at the same time as Tsukishima.
When I get out of the car we greet each other.

"Morning"

"Good morning" he replies.

I yawn once more.

"You seem tired." He tells me

"Yes, you don't."

Tsukishima smirks "I go to bed at a decent hour."

I sigh "yeah so do I." We both make our way into the museum, Tsukishima holds the door open for me and I thank him.

"So I'll see you at lunch?" I ask.

"Yes, I didn't bring my lunch so I'll probably eat subway."

I smile "Cool, we can probably walk there together if you want."

"As long as you don't keep me waiting."

I smirk "now why would I do that."

He gives me a smile "If you do I won't raid with you anymore."

I gasp "Now that's going to far!!"

"Then don't disappoint me and be on time short stuff."

I pout cutely "I'm not that short. Your just tall."

Tsukishima blushes slightly "B-both are true."

I tile my head at him "Alright I'll let you have this round. See ya later." I wave and enter the gift shop.

After getting my stuff situated I run into Kai "So my friends are having a party and I wanted to know if you wanted to come."

I blink twice "That's very kind of you but I'm going to have to decline. I'm not a fan of parties. Thank you for thinking of though."

Kai's smile turns to a frown "O-Oh, I see. Well I thought I'd ask."

I try not to see it as he asked me out. "S-Sorry Kai."

"No it's fine. Well I'll see you out there."

I smile "Okay."

I watch as he walks away. I bite my lip well that was awkward.
