You clean up the dishes and get ready to go meet with bruce and Becca.
You and Vance are both in your room getting ready.
He sits on your bed as you start doing your makeup.
"So who are we going to see again?" Vance asks
"Bruce and Becca, you've met Becca. I don't know about Bruce though. Anyway he and I have been close since we were 7." You say
"Oh, ok."
"Can I do your hair?" You ask as you finish your own.
"What?" He says looking at you confused.
"Your hair, its all messy."
"Oh, uhh sure I guess" he says unsure as to what will happen.
He go on sit on your bed and he moves to the floor infront of you.
You comb through his blonde curly hair doing so not to have it go frizzy.
You pull it into a small bun at the back of his head.
"Done!" you say smiling.
"Wow...it's uh.. nice" he says standing up and looking in the mirror.
"What do you not like it"
You say crossing your arms and rolling your eyes at him.
He doesn't speak.
You laugh.
"I think it looks cute" you say going to your closet and grabbing a jacket. Vances cheeks turn slightly pink"Come on let's go"
He follows you out the door.
You meet with Bruce at a park close to your house.
"Hey y/n, good to see you" he says hugging you.
"Good to see you too" you say stepping back from the hug
"Bruce, this is Vance." You say smiling and stepping out from in front of Vance.
Vance give a small wave and says hi and Bruce does the same.
"Where's Becca?" You say confused.
"Oh, yeah. She called me earlier saying shes sick and can't come today."
"Aw shit, we should go see her" you suggest.
"I was thinking that too but she said her dad has her basically on lockdown because of it, thinks she'll get more sick from other people or something"
Bruce says sighing.
"Oh, guess it's just us then" you say smiling at Vance. He give a small smile back.
"So, what do you guys wanna do?" Bruce asks
"how about that diner we went to last time? its just down the street" You say looking at both of them.
They both agree and you all start your walk to the diner.
"sooo, y/n. Is Vance your bf?" Bruce says as he moves to the other side of you.
"wha-" you get cut off by Vance.
"Yeah, why" he says looking at Bruce
Even though that wasn't true at the moment, you stayed silent curious to see what would happen.
'Oh" Bruce says looking away almost in embarassment.
after being close with Bruce for so long, after growing up together he started to be attracted to you as you got older. Though you didn't feel the same.
Awkward silence surrounded the three of you as you reached the diner.
