"I don't think they would much appreciate my presence." Jake argued.

"It's all thanks to you that we found Hannah. Of course they would appreciate your presence." I said as I tried to fix his messy hair.

"No. It's all because of-"

"I would not have been able to do much if it wasn't for you, Jake... Let's just say.. We're both equally to be thanked for solving this mystery." I smiled at him.

"Perhaps you are right." He mumbled.

Chuckling, I rose on my toes and kissed his cheek.

Jake's face flushed a light shade of pink as he miserably tried to contain his smile.

"C'mon let's go." I grabbed his arm and we both left his apartment.

It was Jessy's idea for a reunion party after it had been a few months Hannah was found. Richy was not able to survive the fire in that mine and everyone except Jessy, Jake and I believes that the man without a face had simply managed to escape while Hannah was saved by Alan and Richy couldn't make it out alive.

Jessy and I decided to keep it that way.

Everyone was left devastated after Richy's death and it took all of us quite a while to get used to his absence in our lives.

But despite everything, life goes on and we have no choice but to keep moving ahead with it.

"Hannah still isn't aware that I am her half brother." Jake said in worry as we neared the bar Aurora.

"Lilly might have told her."

"No, MC. She hasn't."

"Good. You can tell the truth to her yourself then." I encouraged him.

"Ay! Here, captain!" Dan waved at us.

I grinned as soon as I saw everyone sitting around a big table.

Jake and I made our way to them.

I greeted everyone and they all happily greeted me back. Jessy crushed me in a big hug which I was expecting from her.

"This must be the one and only hackerman." Dan smirked at Jake.

"It is." Jake simply said.

"Why are you wearing that mask?" Cleo asked Jake.

"Precautions." Jake replied.

One by one everyone greeted Jake, except Hannah. She was staring at him in confusion.

"So.. How have you been, Jake?" Lilly asked him with a polite smile.

Before Jake could reply, we heard a gasp.

It was Hannah.

"Jake?" She asked in a shocked voice. "Is that really you?"

Jake looked at me and I gave him a smile and nodded.

Hesitantly, he took his mask off and looked at everyone. "Yes, Hannah. It's me." He said.

I could tell that everyone was stunned to finally see Jake's full face, except Hannah. She leaped out of her seat and flung herself into Jake's arms.

"I missed you so much, Jake. Thank you for saving me." She mumbled as she cried on his chest.

"I missed you too, Hannah. And it wasn't me alone who saved you." Jake rubbed her back and tried to calm her down.
