A/N: HEY EVERYBODY! LONG TIME NO SEE!

I apologise for taking ages to make an update but.. Eh.. Life was going to Shits  ╮(╯▽╰)╭

Anyway, I'm back :) with another update which was requested by ar_revolutsioon

This isn't exactly what you had asked for but I hope you don't get disappointed with what I wrote :')

Now, on to the story 👉

"I'm so excited!" I squealed as I bounced around in my kitchen like a clown.

"I can't believe this is actually happening today!" I cheered as I downed a glass of juice in a single go.

"Ahh.. God only knows how much I waited for this!" I grinned before sitting down on the kitchen counter itself.

"Finally! Finally, I'll get to meet the geek-"

"Uh.. MC.. You haven't hung up yet." The distorted voice said from my phone and I paled.

"You forgot to cut the call..." Jake awkwardly said in that distorted voice.

My eyes were widened as my cheeks flared up with embarrassment and I quickly sprang up to pick up my phone.

"Uh- that- I- You could've hung up!" I huffed while crossing my arms.

He had the audacity to chuckle!

"...Don't worry.. I didn't hear anything." I could already picture the teasing smile on his lips.

"Yeah.. Right.." I said, feeling so embarrassed.

I should've controlled myself or properly checked the phone before going all crazy before.

He must be thinking of me as a weirdo.

"MC.. It's Okay. Don't think much about it and.. Well... I'm excited to meet you too." He shyly said.

"You are?!" My eyes lit up.

"You have no idea how much." He replied.

I opened my mouth to speak something but I heard a faint voice calling Jake's name from his end of the line.

"Who was that?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Uh.. No- no one." He immediately said.

"I heard someone calling your name, Jake." I said with furrowed eyebrows.

"I'm currently in the park, MC.. There are plenty of Jakes out there."

I didn't think much of it. I trust Jake with all my heart.

"Hm.. Right. Anyway, I can't wait to meet you, Jake." I said with a grin.

"Me too, MC... Alright, I need to go now, okay? Take care." He said.

"You t-" He hung up before I could reply.

That was odd.

It's probably nothing. He's so busy with everything after all. Some emergency might have come up.

After a lot of convincing from my side and an equal lot of denying from his side, Jake and I were finally meeting after five months of solving Hannah's case.

He was just too stubborn but not more than me.

I somehow managed to get him to meet me at my house since he wouldn't agree for any other place.
