*11 years later*
In the past 11 years I have gotten better at hunting. Mr. Collins had showed me all of his tricks and told me his methods to kill. He raised me and treated me like I was actually one of his daughters. Unfortunately, Mr. Collins had died of a heart attack a year ago, there was a huge ceremony in his name, remembering all he did for the pack. His death made his first born, Chris, the new leader of the pack.
I usually help Chris make decisions and lead the pack. Some more bad news Annabel died while accidentally drinking poison 8 months ago. It was an unexpected death, especially for a talented and knowledgeable witch. After her death, I made the effort to visit Ruby every week so she won't get lonely.
"What am I going to do?! The vampires are getting close to our territory, and they won't even give me a chance to compromise with them" Chris said
The woods/forest is very big, it's divided into many parts. There's the Dark woods where the werewolves live, Marina shore where the mermaids live, the Bloody woods where the vampires live, and the wicked forest where the witches live. There are many more places, but they belong to other creepy weird creatures.
"I'm sure you'll think of something"' I said trying to make him feel better. Ever since Mr. Collins' death, we have been dealing with the vampire's demand for more land.
"Thanks Toxic, I'll try to talk to them tomorrow. Anyway, what are you doing later on tonight?"
"Ummm nothing really" I said
"I was wo-wo-ndering, if you, I mean if I, I mean if we can...." All of a sudden Ruby, came out of nowhere and started screaming.
"Y/N Y/N Y/N GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!" she screamed
"What?"
"I GOT THE CUTEST SHOES AT THE LOWEST PRICE!!!!!" She was screaming as if she had won the lottery.
"You came all the way over here just to tell me that?" I asked
"Ummm... Yeah, aren't you happy?" she asked kind of disappointed.
"I guess" I said awkwardly. I knew this was just a cry for attention. She does this every time she gets lonely.
•Chris's point of view•
Great Ruby had to burst through the door with one of her 'announcements.' It's not that I don't like her, it's just that I've been trying to ask Toxic out for months now, and Ruby just ruined it.
"Yo bro where have you been? I've been trying to find ya?"
I turned around, it was just my friend Jordan. He walked in as the two girls walked out.
"Hey Jordan" I said
"Did Toxic reject yooouuu" he teased
" No... why do you say that?" I asked annoyed
" It's cuz ya seem sad" he said
"She left with Ruby, and I haven't told Toxic yet. I just get so nervous when I try to. That and I have a million things going through my head. " I said disappointingly
"Oh, maybe you should do somethin sweet for her so she gets the message. Like.... ummm... giving her flowers with a card or somethin" Jordan suggested
I scratched my head considering the idea. "I just thought of something better but you need to help me"
"Ok fine. What's your idea?"
•Your point of view•
I had went to Ruby's house, and looked at all the stuff she bought, 5 dresses, 7 pairs of shoes, 10 skinny jeans and 3 skirts. She tried them all out for me and justified her reason for buying them.
"Well I have to go now Ruby. It's getting late. I'll talk to you tomorrow"
"OK" she yelled
I walked back to the Dark woods, and I saw Jordan, Chris's best friend.
"Hey Jordan have you seen Chris?" I asked
"He's getting ready to su.... Su -su-su sualsa" he quickly said.
"He's getting ready to sualsa?" I asked confused
"He got uhh very hungry, so he's getting ready to make salsa" he said
"Oh... Uhhh... ok" I said
Why is Jordan such a bad liar? I know they're up to something.
I went to the cliff where Chris howls, but he wasn't there. Then I saw a piece of paper on the floor.
"What's this?"
I opened it. It read,
"Tag you're it"
WHAT DOES IT MEAN!?!?!?
Then I remember where me and Chris use to play tag. I ran to the usual spot where we use to play. Nearby, I saw flower petals. I followed them, not paying attention to my surroundings which caused me to bump into a tree.
"Ouch! son of a-"
I looked up the tree had an I carved into it, I walked past another tree it had an L I kept on walking and on every tree there was a letter. O-V-E -Y-O-U
It took me a minute to figure out what it spelled. Suddenly I saw Chris' two brown fluffy ears, and tail. He was holding a bouquet of flowers, and a bag of (your favorite candy).
"Chris, what's going on?"
"Toxic I-I-I loveyou! Being with you is the best feeling ever. Seeing you smile, hearing you laugh, everything you do is just amazing... Doyouwanttobemygirlfriend?" He asked
Oh my god what's going on? Did he just ask me to be his girlfriend?!
What do I say?
How should I feel?
This can change my whole life
"Chris I-I-"
He interrupted me "I know you don't feel the same way"
"No! it's not that it's just that I'm speechless... you did all this for me?"
"Of course you mean so much to me"
"Really?" I asked
"Ever since I met you... I've been feeling this way and ever since my dad died, I've been so busy and I never get to spend time with you anymore. I miss being little kids."
I walked up to Chris and hugged him, and whispered "I love you."
"I love you too princess" he said and kissed my head
