After you shut the door your husband (Nicholas) was cooking in the kitchen, when he got a message, and he told you to open it for him.
And you open his phone to see the message and saw your brother gave him a message.
' Run, my sister is Nuts , she killed 6 of his past husbands and your the 7th one, Good luck dude '
