Anuj and Arun came to a corner. Anuj looked at Arun in anger but he made sure that no other passerby understood what was going on.
Anuj: ARUN. Tum karna kya chahte ho? Kyu pade ho Anu ke peeche?
Arun: Arre re re! Anuj, tumhe bura lag raha hai? Pata hai, Anuj tum Anu se pyar karte raho, par yeh yaad rakhna ki yeh jo tumhara pyar hai na, woh sirf aur sirf ek tarfa hi ho sakta hai kyunki Anu ko toh mai hi pasand hu.
Arun was mocking Anuj. He expected some big reaction like Anuj trying to push him etc. but Anuj did nothing like that. He just smiled at him.
Anuj: Arun. Tumme aur mujhme bas yeh hi difference hai. Tumhe lagta hai ki pyar paane ke liye kiya jaata hai aur mai maanta hu ki pyar dene ke liye hota hai. Tum kabhi pyar kar toh sakte nahi, par tum jo bhi yeh kar rahe ho, woh kabhi bhi kaam nahi karega. Yeh Anuj Kapadia tumhare inn galat armaano ko kabhi bhi sach nahi hone dega.
Arun: Accha! Dekhte hai!
Arun started laughing. Anuj looked at him, he just looked at him with stone cold eyes. And then left him there and went inside the classroom.

The classes were over and Arun met Anupama outside the college.
Arun: Chale Anupama?
Anupama nodded in positive. Anuj and Devika followed Anupama till outside the college and kept on following her and Arun. Arun and Anupama sat in an auto, and Anuj and Devika followed them. Arun took Anupama to an abandoned fort in Ahmedabad called Diu fort.
Anupama: Arun..yeh kaha le aaye tum mujhe?
Arun: Anupama tum chinta mat karo, mujhpe wishvas rakho!
In the auto behind them, Anuj and Devika were growing suspicious of Arun's intentions even more.
Anuj: Devika, yeh Arun toh Anupama ko Diu le aaya..
Devika: Sahi keh raha hai tu Anuj..yeh toh abandoned fort hai..yaha zyada tourist bhi nahi aate..
Both Anupama and Arun came down from the auto and Arun paid the fee. The auto left. In order for Arun to not see Anuj and Devika, they were following them for a little far. When Arun and Anupama came out of their auto, Anuj and Devika also got out of their auto and Anuj paid the auto fee but also asked the auto driver to stay there till they return.
Arun took Anupama to the top of the fort and they both looked at each other to start their conversation. Anuj and Devika also followed them and stopped behind a big chunk of concrete that was fallen there. They hid carefully, they hid at a distance from which they can hear the conversation between Anupama and Arun as well as be safe and out of Arun's sight.
Arun: Anupama..mujhe tumhe kaafi time se kuch bolna hai..
Anupama: Bolo na Arun!
Arun: Anupama..I.. I..
Anuj's eyes started to widen. His fists started to curl up and his anger started to boil. He knew what he was going to do, first he'll tell Anupama that he loves her and then use her and throw her away. But before Anuj could think of reacting Devika held onto his arm and made him calm down atleast a little bit. She reminded him that they were hiding there and that they need to continue this and not be caught by Arun without any strong clue or evidence against him. Anuj sat back down and tried to control his anger.
Anupama: Arre Arun, yeh I, I ke aage bhi toh kuch bolo!
Arun: Dekho Anupama, mai tumhare har decision ko respect karunga..I promise..
Anupama: Theek che..par baat kya hai?
Arun: Anupama..I..I..I know that you love me..and I love you too..
Anuj's anger was at its peak! He wanted to jump there and beat the hell out of Arun. On the other hand, Anupama was shocked. She kept on looking at Arun in disbelief.
Anupama: Arun..tum ne shayad kisi aur Anupama ko laana chahte the, tumne galat wali Anupama ko le aaye yaha..
Arun: Nahi..maine sahi Anupama ko laya hai yaha..mai tumhari hi baat kar raha tha Anupama..mai tumhari hi baat kar raha hu Anupama Joshi!
Saying this he held onto Anupama's arms and pulled her close.
Anupama: AAH! Arun! Yeh kya kar rahe ho chodo mujhe!
Hearing Anupama's scream, Anuj's anger could no longer stay back. He and Devika got up from their hiding place and ran towards Anupama.
Anuj: ARUN! CHOD ANUPAMA KO!
Anuj was on fire. It felt as if he would literally grill Arun. Anuj was quick enough and powerful enough to get Anupama separated from Arun and then held onto Arun's collar. Anupama fell on the side and Devika caught her. Anupama was already very scared. She could not believe what Arun just said or did. Then she saw Anuj and Arun. She was even more scared now, she couldn't imagine what was about to happen next.
Anuj: ARUN! Maine kaha tha na Anupama se dooor rehna!
Arun: TU! Anuj ke bacche! Tujhe yaha kisne bulaya?!
Anuj: Jab jab Anupama ko meri zarurat padegi mai waha waha aa jaunga! Mujhe tum jaiso ki koi permission ya invitation ki zarurat nahi hai! Aur tu! Kya kar raha tha?! Samajhta nahi hai kya?! Anupama ne bola tha na chod, aur woh sab baad ki baat, tumne usse haath bhi kaise lagaya!
Anupama: Anuj..chodo ne usse..rehne do! Usse dosti pyar laga, aur usne pagalpan me kuch bhi kar diya..tum chodo ne!
Anuj turned his head towards Anupama but his grip was still maintained on Arun.
Anuj: Anupama mai kaise jaane du?? Isme tumhe chot pahunchai hai! HOW DARE HE!!
Anupama: Anuj, rehne do! Tum toh mere dost ho ne. Arre iss bechare ko toh dosti aur pyar ke beech me tak Antara nahi pata! Isiliye toh usne mere dosti mai apne liye pyar dhoondhke mere paas aa gaya!
Arun: Oh really Anupama? Tumhe kya lagta hai mai akela hu? Sirf mujhe tumse pyar hai? Aur yeh Anuj? Iska kya?
Anupama: Anuj mera dost hai! Aur woh yeh baat acchi tarah se jaanta hai! Woh tumhari tarah nahi hai!
Devika looked at Anuj. She felt bad for him but something was wrong. She knew that Arun wouldn't just let his sword down without a fight.
Arun: Arre wah! Arre, Anuj tu aur mai toh ek jaise nikle yaar!
Anuj: Chup kar Arun! Mai aur tum kabhi bhi ek jaise nahi ho sakte!
Arun: Nahi nahi Anuj! Tu galat hai mere dost! Tu aur mai ek jaise hi nikle! Abhi abhi Anupama ne bhi toh prove kar diya yeh baat!
Anupama: Matlab?
Arun: Arre Anupama, jaise maine tumhari dosti ko pyar ka naam de diya, waise hi toh Anuj ne bhi tumhari dosti ko pyar ka naam diya hai! Pyar karta hai na tu Anupama se, kyu Anuj Kapadia?
Anupama was shocked. She was taken a back. She held onto Devika for support, but her gaze was fixed on Anuj. She needed an answer from him.
Anuj: Mai..mai..woh..
Anupama: Anuj..sach bolo ne! Sach bolo!
Anuj: Ha! Ha Anupama! Mai..mai pyar karta hu tumse.
Anuj's grip on Arun loosened. He stood there, he knew he just ruined the most beautiful friendship he had. He looked at Anupama, she was standing there in shock. Anupama was shocked, her two friends who were boys were not just expecting friendship from her, rather both of them loved her. She was out of words. She kept on staring at Anuj in disbelief but she was the guilt in Anuj's eyes.
Anuj: I'm sorry Anupama..but..but yeh sach hai..mai..mai tumhe chahta hu..
