Nancy sat crying about something, as if I didn't just see the same thing. I wasn't really paying much attention until Max spoke up. "4 chimes. Vecna's clock always chimes 4 times exactly."
"I heard them too." Nancy whispered
"I'm pretty sure everyone he tries to kill heard them, Nancy. I heard them." I crossed my arms and leaned back.
"He's been telling us his plan this whole time."
"Four kills." Lucas stated "Four gates. End of the world."
"If that's true, he's only one kill away." Dustin said
"He hasn't been trying to torture me, he's been trying to get me to catch on." I realize out loud
I zoned out for a hot minute thinking about it. He wants us to know his plan, he wants not just to ruin my life, but to ruin hawkins. I was snapped out of my head by arguing
"so then why fight fair? You're right. He's like eleven. But that gives us an upper hand. We know elevens strengths. And weaknesses." Dustin pointed out
"Weaknesses?" Erica asked
"When El remote-travles,-" Dustin started
"She goes into this trance like State. I bet Vecna does it too." I finished Dustin's sentence
"I bet that's what he was doing up in that attic." Lucas pointed at me and Dustin
"Exactly. When he attacks his next victim, I'll bet you he's back in that attic, physical body defenseless." Dustin added
"Defenseless? What about the army of bats?" Steve asked with an additude
"True. We'll have to find a way past them. Distract them somehow." Dustin crossed his arms and began thinking
"And, uh, how do we do that, exactly?" Eddie asked
"No idea." Dustin replied
"But once they're gone, he doesn't stand a chance against us. He's vulnerable in that attic and if we don't take advantage of it we're done for." I explained
"That all sounds good in theory but there is no pattern to Vecna's killings. Not one that I can decipher. We don't know when he's going to attack next." Robin argued
Dustin sat thinking as I got the perfect idea. "Then we make it so that we know who he's attacking and when." I said confidently. Everyone looked at me puzzled "We use Max as bait. He wants her so bad, let him think he has her. Of course there will be people there to bring her back if it goes to far. The person near her when vecna gets her will alert the rest of the team through the walkies. Boom, there's our shot."
"That's crazy!" Lucas argued
"I know it's crazy but it's the only way to save everyone!" I argued back
"It would work. I ditch Kate Bush, I draw his focus back to me." Max said plainly as she stood with her arms crossed.
"Max. You can't. He'll kill you." Lucas kept arguing
"Not if we stick to the plan." I said
"I survived before, I'll do it again." Max argued to Lucas. "I just need to keep him busy long enough so that you guys can get into that attic. Then you can chop his head off. Stab him in the heart. Blow him up with some explosive Y/n and Dustin cook up. I honestly really don't care how us put this asshole in his grave. Just...whatever you do..try not to miss." her words sent chills down my spine, I mean I knew she'd agree with me but I didn't think she'd give a whole damn speech. We all just sat in silence.

Eddie slammed down a newspaper on the table "Check this out." we all gathered around. "The war zone. I've been there once. It's huge. They've got everything you need for uhm...well uh..killing things, basically." Eddie explained
