Full of time that I felt safe living
The memories I enjoyed with my family and friends
The sanctuary where I explored reading and writing
Years of what I thought I could never get tired of
Hours where I felt the sun coursing through me
Smiles in which I felt I had such grand dreams
Home was where I felt so happy and loved
Home
The place where I feel like I'm repetitively go in circles
The place where I cried until my face transformed into waterfalls
The place where I was popping pills like I was out of time
The place where I had virtual meetings with my therapist
The place where I had screaming matches
The place where I finally broke down and scarred my wrists
The place where I decided to change my life by ending it
The place where I had the option of death in my hands and I took it
