Snow still comes and goes
The sun now making its rare appearance
The month of unrequited love
Heartbreaks and heartaches
All from someone trying to make a grand gesture
The others like me
Watch from afar
As those with their love and gifts
Flourish and smile
I'm utterly alone in the meanwhile
Too tired to care
My life a heaping mess of a pile
A small hope for the springtime
And a bit of exhaustion from the winter
Heart-shaped presents given
While my heart is still broken
The sun-filled days a rarity
Frigid breeze
Somewhere in the month
People are in complete love
Until fights break out
And houses burn down
Yelling ensues
While people try to find someone to be their muse
Dark nights with fog
Make me feel like I'm in the wrong
