Jaden has finally arrived in Fuchsia City. It was a relatively small town. It had the Pokemon Gym and a park, and the town had a beach with the sea. Jaden headed to the Poke Centre to rest up. He transferred his Venusaur to Professor Oak.
Jaden messaged Cynthia on his poke-watch to say that he's arrived in Fuchsia City. She replied that she was thinking of him and was rooting for him.
He decided to head to the beach to relax. He sat on a rock, thinking about his journey so far. He looked at Growlithe.
Jaden: We're halfway through our journey in Kanto, and we're only getting stronger. The Fuchsia Gym uses Poison-types. That's gonna be tricky. Who am I gonna use?
Jaden was contemplating which Pokemon to use against the Gym. He used the Pokedex to help. He saw that Poison types are weak against ground and psychic moves, so he knew the Pokemon to use. He decided to do some training.
He took the Pokemon he wanted to use and did some special training. His Pokemon levelled up and learned new moves.

It was evening and Jaden rested up in the Pokemon Centre.
The morning came.
He headed for the Gym with the Pokemon required in hand.
He entered and he saw that the insides were like a ninja training ground. Then smoke appeared and someone emerged.
Koga: Hello. I am Koga, the Gym Leader. I take it you're here to challenge me?
Jaden: I am, yes. I'm Jaden.
Koga: Pleasure. Please follow me.
Koga lead Jaden to the battlefield.
Koga: Are you ready?
Jaden: Of course.
Koga: Student, be our referee.
Referee: Yes sir. This will be a four-on-four battle with the challenger allowed to make substitutions. The battle will be over when one side's Pokemon are unable to continue. Now, reveal your first Pokemon.
Koga: Weezing, appear!
Jaden: Go Butterfree!
Referee: Now, battle begin!
Koga: Weezing, use Toxic!
Weezing spewed up toxic.
Jaden: Butterfree, dodge and use Psybeam!
Butterfree flew up and fired a psychic beam at Weezing.
Koga: Protect!
A protective barrier surrounded Weezing.
Jaden: Grr.
Koga: Weezing, use Sludge Bomb!
Butterfree had no time to escape.
Jaden: Use Psychic!
Butterfree used powerful psychic energy to stop the Sludge Bomb in mid-air.
Koga: What?!
Jaden: Quick fire it back!
Weezing's move was directed back to it.
Koga: Protect!
But suddenly, Butterfree disappeared.
Koga: Where is your Pokemon? I didn't know you had such ninja-like skills.
Jaden: I don't. But I'll show you. Use Air Slash!
Weezing was hit from behind.
Koga: Where did that come from?
Jaden: Use Psychic!
Butterfree's psychic power grabbed hold of Weezing.
Jaden: Now keep using Psybeam!
Butterfree kept firing Psybeam against a defenceless Weezing. Weezing kept taking direct hits and it couldn't last long.
Jaden: Now slam it into the ground!
Weezing was slammed into the ground hard.
Referee: Weezing is unable to battle, Butterfree is the winner!
Jaden: Yes! That's one!
Koga: Return Weezing. Nice work. Rest easy now. You are an intriguing trainer. Now, go Muk!
