Jaden received the Mineral Badge after defeating Jasmine and will head to Mahogany Town for his next battle.
Jaden left Olivine City with Arcanine, Croconaw, Houndoom, Ariados, Dragonair and Espeon in tow.
As usual, they battled trainers they met along the way.
Trainer: Go Nidorina!
Jaden: Go Croconaw! Use Swords Dance!
Croconaw raised its attack.
Trainer: Nidorina, use Double Kick!
Jaden: Dodge it, Croconaw!
Croconaw dodged Nidorina's double kick.
Jaden: Now use Water Pulse!
Croconaw fired a pulse of water at Nidorina.
Trainer: Dodge it, Nidorina!
Nidorina dodged by jumping.
Trainer: Now use Shadow Claw!
Jaden: Use Bite!
Croconaw bit onto Nidorina's attack.
Trainer: Huh?
Jaden: Now use Water Gun!
Croconaw fired a close-range water gun attack and landed a super-effective hit. Nidorina was defeated.
Trainer: Nidorina return. Go Nidorino! Use Shock Wave!
Nidorino fired a quick jolt of electricity and landed a super-effective hit.
Jaden: Croconaw, use Swords Dance!
Croconaw raised its attack.
Jaden: Now use Water Gun!
Trainer: Nidorino, dodge and use Horn Attack!
Nidorino dodged by jumping and attacked Croconaw with a sharply pointed horn.
Jaden: Use Bite!
Croconaw lanched onto Nidorino's horn.
Trainer: Shake it off, Nidorino!
Jaden: Hang on Croconaw, and use Water Pulse!
Croconaw stood its ground and fired a close-range water pulse at Nidorino. Nidorino took a super-effective hit and was defeated.
Trainer: Return Nidorino. I'd better get back to training.
Jaden: Return Croconaw. Let's carry on.

Trainer: Go Shuckle.
Jaden: A rock and bug type. Go Croconaw! Use Water Gun!
Croconaw fired a gun of water.
Trainer: Shuckle, use Withdraw!
Shuckle raised its defense.
Shuckle took a super-effective hit but took less damage.
Trainer: Shuckle, use Bug Bite!
Jaden: Fight back using Bite!
Croconaw bit Shuckle's shell.
Trainer: Shuckle, use Withdraw!
Shuckle raised its defense.
Jaden: Prepare to use Water Pulse!
As Croconaw was readying an attack, Shuckle struck first.
Trainer: Shuckle, use Sludge Bomb inside Croconaw's mouth!
Shuckle withdrew into its shell and came out where it was looking inside Croconaw's mouth and fired multiple sludge bombs.
Jaden: Spit it out, Croconaw! Use Water Pulse!
Croconaw lifted its head so that it was facing the sky and fired a super-effective attack and landed a hit.
Shuckle was blasted into the air and came crashing down. Shuckle was defeated.
Trainer: No Shuckle! Return and get a good rest.
Jaden: Yes! Great job, Croconaw!
