The match between Jaden and the champion, Gary took place. Jaden has lost three of his Pokemon with Gary losing one.
The match will now resume.
Announcer: Welcome back fans, as we resume the match that will determine who will become champion! Give it up for Jaden and Gary!
Jaden and Gary re-entered the battlefield.
Gary: This is already a done deal. I've only lost one Pokemon while you've lost three. This is in the bag.
Jaden: Don't be so sure. There's still a long way to go, Gary.
Referee: Trainers bring out your Pokemon!
Gary: Go Magmar!
Jaden: Let's go, Charizard!
Announcer: Oh goodness me! We saw Jaden's shiny Lapras, but now he's got a shiny Charizard! He must be one lucky trainer!
Gary: I'll say this, I'm impressed. But just because it's different coloured, doesn't mean it's stronger.
Referee: Begin the battle!
Gary: Magmar, use Headbutt!
Magmar charged at Charizard with its head. It made contact, but Charizard seemed unaffected.
Gary: What? It did nothing?!
Jaden: Of course. Charizard's been through some tough battles, so an attack like that won't do much.
Gary: Use Fire Punch!
Magmar punched Charizard with a fist of fire, but again, it did nothing.
Gary: Again?!
Jaden: Use Dragon Claw!
Charizard struck Magmar with a claw of dragon energy. It took a direct hit.
Gary: That looked powerful.
Jaden: Of course it did. Now use Flamethrower!
Charizard fired a powerful flamethrower at Magmar. It wasn't very effective, but it was a direct hit.
Jaden: Now use Fire Pledge!
Charizard slammed its foot on the ground and pillars of fire began to appear and surrounded Magmar. It then burst into a volcano of fire with Magmar at the centre. It took another powerful and direct hit.
Gary: Magmar!
Referee: Magmar is unable to battle. Charizard is the winner.
Gary: Return Magmar. Go Snorlax. Use Thunderbolt!
Jaden: Dodge it!
Charizard dodged it by flying.
Jaden: Use Flamethrower!
Gary: Use Thunderbolt!
Flamethrower and Thunderbolt collided on impact and resulted in an explosion.
Gary: I can't see.
Jaden: Use Dragon Claw!
Charizard emerged from the smoke and struck an unexpected Snorlax.
Gary: Snorlax, use Rest!
Jaden: Huh? Rest?
Snorlax immediately went to sleep.
Announcer: With Snorlax using Rest, it will regain health as it sleeps. Jaden must act quickly before Snorlax is healed.
Jaden: Use Fire Pledge!
Charizard slammed its foot on the ground and pillars of fire surrounded a sleeping Snorlax. It then exploded. Snorlax took a direct hit.
Jaden: Now use Focus Blast!
Charizard heightened its mental energy and channeled it into a sphere of power and fired it at Snorlax. Since it was a fighting-type move, it was super effective.
Snorlax then woke up.
Gary: Use Thunderbolt!
When Snorlax used thunderbolt, it seemed uneasy.
Charizard dodged the attack.
Gary: Snorlax, what's going on?
Announcer: It seems Snorlax felt all the powerful attacks from Charizard while sleeping and they seem to have affected Snorlax.
Jaden: Use Flamethrower!
Gary: Counter with Thunderbolt!
