Announcer: Welcome back everyone to our final battle with Jaden facing the Elite Four!
Jaden and Karen entered the battlefield.
Referee: Trainers, bring out your Pokemon.
Karen: I choose you, Gengar!
Jaden: Go Noctowl!
Referee: Start the battle!
Jaden: Noctowl, use Extrasensory!
Noctowl attacked with an odd, unseeable power.
Karen: Gengar, use Dark Pulse!
Gengar fired a horrible aura imbued with dark thoughts.
The attacks collided and resulted in an explosion.
Jaden: Use Sky Attack!
Noctowl flew above the smoke and soared down.
Karen: Gengar, use Ice Punch!
Gengar punched Noctowl with a fist of ice and landed a super-effective hit.
Jaden: No Noctowl!
Karen: Now use Shadow Ball!
Gengar wasted no time in attacking again. It hurled a shadowy blob at Noctowl.
Jaden: Use Extrasensory!
Noctowl countered by attacking with an odd, unseeable power.
Both moves collided and clashed.
Then Noctowl noticed Gengar was behind it.
Karen: Use Ice Punch!
Gengar was about to land another super-effective hit. But Jaden was ready this time.
Jaden: Noctowl, use Hypnosis!
Noctowl employed a hypnotic suggestion on Gengar.
Gengar was put to sleep.
Karen: No Gengar!
Announcer: Gengar is now asleep! Can Karen be able to come back?
Jaden: Now, use Dream Eater!
Noctowl began to steal Gengar's energy and use it to replenish its own health.
Karen: Gengar, wake up!
Come on!
But it didn't. Gengar wouldn't wake up.
Jaden: Use Extrasensory!
Noctowl fired an odd, unseeable power and landed a super-effective hit.
Referee: Gengar is unable to battle. Noctowl is the winner.
Jaden: Nice job, Noctowl!
Karen: Return Gengar. You battled well. Get some rest. Now, go Houndoom!
Jaden: Houndoom's next. Return Noctowl. Go Donphan!
Referee: Begin the battle!
Jaden: Donphan, use Iron Defense!
Donphan raised its defense.
Jaden: Now use Earthquake!
Donphan stomped on the ground and created an earthquake.
Houndoom took a super-effective hit.
Karen: Houndoom, use Sunny Day!
Houndoom changed the weather to sunshine.
Karen: Now use Flamethrower!
Houndoom fired a powerful flamethrower which was powered up by the sun.
Jaden: Use Iron Defense!
Donphan raised its defense again before taking a direct hit from the attack.
Donphan was blasted into the wall.
Jaden: Woah. That was powerful. Use Earth Power!
Donphan made the ground underneath Houndoom erupt with power and landed a super-effective hit.
