Moving to Robot City after nearly 20 years of living in one place for far too long is a stress reliever and a stress machine all at the same time. There were a lot of things that you had to finish before you moved away; your education, your salaries, your income, hopefully, that would be enough to buy an apartment of your own. Once you were able to get into a college that was closest to your new place, you were able to pack away what you could take; your clothes, essentials, personal items, everything you could think of. Trying to convince your parents to let you go would be hard, so you had to be stealthy when you got out and packed away everything in your suitcases.
Besides, there were a lot of things you would miss, but not the small-town life.
After what seemed like a long day of traveling via train, you soon made it. Robot City. And, to your surprise, things had changed since before you came here.
What used to be a small place filled with growing bots turned out to be a larger paradise, but better than your old hometown. Skyscrapers as high as the clouds can reach. Buildings that used to be small, now stood tall and proud over the walking citizens. You hadn't expected all this to be beautiful.
You've seen what the City looked like on TV, but now it was all so real. As you walked around the train station, you took a moment to view the place around you before you made your way to the destination. Riding the express train to your place is quite an experience, but it was also scary for you at the same moment. At one point, you thought you were going to fall off during the part where the orbs rolled around.
By the time you got to your new place, you were all tired out, scared shitless, but overall, ready to start all over again.

The first thing you did after a full night's rest (and maybe sleeping in) was to find some proper clothing for your new job.

You've seen it a lot of times on TV, but you weren't expecting some things to be different than you remembered. What was supposed to be Tim, the original gatekeeper, was replaced by a new one, much friendlier and more open, who greeted you upon first sight. Once you got in, the place became more lively than you last saw it on the screen.
The first employee that you ran into upon entering the company had explained that Bigweld had disappeared thanks to some asshole by the name of Ratchet, but a young lad had come in and not only saved the Greatest Robot in the World, but also the entire city from being outmoded and forced to buy expensive upgrades. When you asked about an old friend of yours, they had just answered, "Prepare to be surprised."
Once you were now in your new office, you took in the surroundings. The area is all fancy but very accommodating at the same moment. The desk stood against another on the opposite side of the office, with a lamp and writing items on the surface.
"Wow. This is something," you remarked to yourself. This is something you could get used to.
"Liking your new place?"
