Epilogue Three

"I'm going home" Valerie yawned, stretching as she dragged herself off Vinny's bed and she started getting dressed,

"Can I come and stay over?" Vin asked, following her movements and pulling a shirt on. Valerie looked disappointed at that action to say the least, "I do not want to be in this house anymore" he added,

"Sure, I'd just rather do anything right now that listen to Ricky and his high school friends have a bad drunk reunion" she laughed dryly, packing her stuff.

"Well, I'm glad you'll have me to do anything with. Thank you for being my escape!" He pushed her gently back onto the bed, passionately joining their lips together.

Taking a breath, and sitting up on his bed, she snuggled in to him. "You're welcome. I am just scared of Rick right now. When I got here earlier he was dressed up in an Easter bunny suit. He didn't even give me any chocolate!"

"Welcome to 2023 babe" Vin sighed, pretending to be sad, "Even the Easter Bunny has cut down due to costs!" He laughed, pulling her off the bed so they could finish getting ready,

"Come on, I feel like just relaxing tonight. Then tomorrow we can go chocolate egg hunting with the guys. I can't believe it's Easter already! It feels like just yesterday it was Christmas!

"Maybe we should've stayed at the house and let Rick entertain us in his costume" Valerie groaned, rolling around her sofa on her phone, blasting some sort of pop music.

"Wow! Are you implying my companion and hosting skills are not to your expectations?" Vinny said, offended. He moved to the sofa and pinned her to it, smirking at her shocked face,

"Well, they don't get any better than this. I am not complaining about you, Mr Twit. I'm complaining about how there is nothing to do at my place" She sighed, kissing his lips quickly,

"Lets watch a movie"

"What?" She chuckled,

"Yeah, lets just watch a movie!" Vinny cheered,

"okay, fine by me!" Valerie smiled, looking to how happy Vinny looked right now. It just made her feel so warm inside knowing he felt good.

"Oh! How about this movie? Dirty Dancing?" He suggested, pulling it out of the pile of DVD cases on the wall.

"If you put the DVD in, I'll go make us some buttery popcorn and drinks!" Valerie said, getting up from the couch. She smirked, almost giggling at her and Vinny's matching fluffy socks.

They both had V on them and mini cartoon drum kits. The two stupidly bought them for each other, not knowing the other did the same. She smiled and felt warm after reminiscing this memory

"Vin! What drink do you want?" Sha called from the kitchen,

Vinny had just put the disc in the DVD player, "Pepsi plea-"

There was a big crash from the kitchen, followed by an 'ouch'

"Val! You okay?" He shouted, running towards her kitchen, but as he rounded the corner, it took in him all he had to not double over in laughter.

"Fuck you" She smirked, but also glaring at him as he took photos of her, not even bothering to help her pick the buttery and sticky mess of popcorn out of her hair. "This is going to ruin my hair. Help me up" She whined, making grabby hands.

"Good thing it wasn't mine then" He laughed, putting his phone down and actually helping her,

"Don't test me. I will wipe the floor with your head." She said, hands on hips.

"Come on! I can hear the movie starting. You can indulge in your sick fantasies of me another time" He laughed, pulling her and their snacks and drinks into the living room.

"Okay, challenge time!" Vinny cheered, "Think fast!" He shouted, throwing popcorn at Valerie, who tried but failed to catch it in her mouth. It went all over the couch,

"Ugh." She rolled her eyes, "Okay, your turn!" She did the same, but he caught every single one. "Show off, I could've done better"

"Smart ass"

"Cute ass"

"badass"

The two laughed, just beginning to chuck popcorn at each other

"Oh! Shut up, shut up! This is my favourite scene!" Vinny shrieked like a girl, pushing Valerie away from him and into a corner. She glared, until she understood what he was doing, butterflies soared through her stomach,

"Nobody puts baby in the corner!" Vinny yelled, suddenly, 'Time of my life' began blasting from his phone. and began playing time of my life on his phone. He swayed his hips to the beat, pulling Valerie out of the corner and placing his hands on her hips,

The two seemed to have the same idea, as they moved the couches quickly, and began dancing.

"Woo!" Valerie giggled as he spun her around,

"You're my princess, and damn can you dance"

"We've already established we both have pretty sexy dance moves" she giggled, placing a hand on his chest,

"That was a good movie" Vinny sighed, pulling Valerie into the bedroom, and pressing his lips firmly against hers,

The two were in a floury of movements, neither wanting to stop. They practically crawled into bed, their lips somehow still interlocked,

"Val-"

"meow"

"Hey baby! How is my cute little ball of fluff!"

"Stupid cat ruining my night" Vinny huffed, making Valerie hit him in the stomach,

"Oh well, lets get some rest. All that dancing has worn me out you goof"

"Okay, goodnight. Love you Valerie"

"Love you too Vinny"

The two shared one final kiss before drifting off to sleep, Valerie's cat happily slept on top of Vinny, but he was happy nonetheless.

But still a bit annoyed aswell.

A tear rolled down her face. Many thoughts drifted through her mind, like a sea of things she had to address. But today she was going to address one thing, and one thing only.

Her eyes slowly adjusted to the brightness as she left her dream world, peeling them open to see her lovers arms wrapped around her,

She rolled over, still encased in her lovers arms,

Her black hair standing out against the white sheets, his dark brown hair mixed with hers, creating quite the mix. The two lay in each others embrace, neither speaking but this silence meant a thousand words to the both of them.

"Good morning my drummer girl"

"Good morning my drummer boy"

"Why are you crying?" he smiled, wiping a tear away with the pad of his thumb,

"I'm happy crying. The same reason you're smiling"

"And why am I smiling?"

"because of our love" she smiled up at him, tempted to kiss his plump lips,

The two smiled, both having faint blushes on their faces. They were both overjoyed, they were so happy,

They both moved in, slowly pressing their lips together, and sparks flew.

"I love you"

"And I love you"
