After having a shower, kaya ascended down the stair carrying her ponderous lehenga with her. She somehow liked this place, the people, and the dresses. She admired how pretty and elegant the women looked carrying themselves so gracefully in these elegant outfits.

Kaya was dying to have her phone back, only she knew how many pictures she wanted to take of this era. Everything around her was beautiful, the sunsets, the animals, the mothers and arya, and the dr-

"arya-... Yes... She's a beauty" her lips arched in a smile.
She liked this young lady.

The way she easily gets embarrassed or how her mood changes out of a sudden, amuses kaya to the core. The image of arya she had the day she first met her has changed a lot and she only wishes to know more about her.

"...."

She failed to notice the strong gaze someone had on her. The other ladies didn't seem any interesting when compared to kaya.

Her unusually fair skin tone and her unseen colored eye piqued his interest.

When kaya walked past a room, she was quickly pulled in, the grip on her hand was quite tight, the door was locked after her.

"who-" kaya looked up to the person's face but she could not see clearly as it was too dark. She hissed as her back came in contact with the cold wall making her wound hurt.

A second later a small candle brighten the room and she could see a silhouette of a tall man. He was build like a warrior his broad shoulder were intimidating enough.

Kaya took in a long breath as she mustered up her courage to ask, "who-" before she could complete, the candle was raised to her face level as it was brought closer.

"Rudra..?" a whisper came out her lips filled with confusion. His handsome masculine face came in front of her and she couldn't help but take a step back.

"what are you trying to do?" she asked as she turned away to reach the door. "we are getting married. You know you shouldn't run away now, right?" he grabbed her hand as he inched closer twisting it behind her back.

"not yet. I still haven't yes. Not that I'm going to,so you can think about letting me go now."

He pressed his torso against her back, softly grazings his fingers over her wounds which was covered by white bandages while his other hand had a tight grab at her arm.

"don't you know that women usually don't have a say in these kinds of matter and even if you don't want to, it'll be your parents who will have a greater say in this matter. I'm rich, comes from a prestigious background and is quite a suitable bachelor. I don't understand why you are insisting on not marrying me?"  His eyes glistened with admiration.

"first leave me!" kaya squealed in pain and he let her go after ,a soft smile formed over his lips.

Kaya rubbed her wrists and closed her eyes as she took a breath of relief. She felt her hand was going to break, she wondered where he got this strength from.

She now faced him and looked at him.

"You ask me why I don't want to marry you, okay hear me out. First this attitude of yours, the way you behave is what is important to me. I don't give a damn about your riches or your background. And second I hate people who forces themselves on others. Also, Is this how you are supposed to behave with a woman elder to you?" she wouldn't dare comment about his looks, he was gorgeous. And not just him people of this era were exceptionally good looking.

"elder? Don't kid me" he said as he burst out laughing. Her young face and her small figure raised a suspicion about her age.

Rudra placed a hand on his abdomen as if stopping himself from laughing any further.
