"...."

" I came here for you...my soon-to-be wife!" he flashed a smile.

Kaya could not revert back to that expression. Her mind was a mess.

'The more I try to get out, the greater I fall!'

Kaya face palmed herself....as she bit her lip anxiously.

Rudra noticed how the clothes she was wearing were different from what she wore in the palace. These were what the commoners usually wore. However, what catched his attention the most was her curves. Her skin was milkish white with a tint of pink as the kamarband rested on her hips.

"Who's it kaya?" Kahini called as she came out wiping her hand with a cloth. She came into the room only to see her daughter with a man.

"....it's Prince R-Rudra," she said before kahini could ask again.

"Namaste kakisa." Rudra dropped his bags to the floor as he came forward to touch her feet. Kahini glanced at Kaya with an ecstatic look.

Her mother was relieved, to see Prince Rudra, he was a well-built man with an extraordinarily handsome face. Who would not want a man like him as their son-in-law?

Kahini placed her hand on Rudra's head to give him blessings and the son and mother-in-law exchanged glances.

Kaya only rolled her eyes.

"Rudra bhaisa, I have brought all my stuff, should I send back the servants now?" a firm yet melodious voice rang in Kaya's ear.

'princess arya!' as soon as arya was at the entrance both of them halted.

"Princess..?"

They both stood there staring at each other, arya's stare was cold but Kaya's was more confused.

'She probably thought I ran away..'

"Arya came with me because she was missing you," Rudra replied to her question.

"missed me...?" kaya was shocked. She thought the first thing arya would do was to kill her.

"NOT AT ALL!" she denied with a proud expression.  Kaya was taken back, but then that was what she expected

"Why would I miss someone who left without telling me?" arya rolled her eyes.

She said feeling proud thinking that it was the meanest of things anyone could say.

Kaya looked at her mother and then at the new members.

"our house is not as big as the palace, no actually I think it's not even big enough to accommodate the 5 of us..." she stated the fact with a poker face.

"Kaya! We both can sleep on the floor, and your father is usually not even home at night

Obviously the prince and the princess are not dumb to leave the palace to come to a place like this.

The place was good enough for kaya however she doubts if she can say the same for these two royals.

"We are rajputs. We can make any and everything possible." arya remarked, thinking that Kaya said this to make them leave. Arya was reluctant to go away.

Rudra nodded as if arya was stating a universal fact.

She stepped forward, coming face to face with kaya, who was taken back by her comment.

Pride....too much pride.

"I won't go till I wish to!" arya asserted in a childish dominance.

kaya was not shock to hear her say this. She was the princess after all!

Rudra thought they were just having a girls talk and moved inside.

"kakisa, you are soon going to become my mother in law." rudra said with his sweetest smile. "my parents wanted me to give you this, it's my wish that you accept the gift please, don't reject it."

Kahini was surprised,  she hasn't received many gift in her life and when she was getting, it was directly from the prince?

"what is this, son?" she said as she took a paper decorated with some scarlet velvet cloth. It was a legal document from the royal palace.

"this...?!" the old lady gasped. She couldn't believe her eyes.

Kaya who was occupied with arya now stared at her mother, puzzled when she heard her grasp.

"Mother, what's it?" kaya came forward to tale the paper from her hand but before she could, rudra took it.

Arya knew what was written on the paper and she sat on the charpai.

"an huh! You can't see it, this is only for mother in law to see". Seeing her taking interest,  rudra grabbed the paper and placed it high in the air so she doesn't take it.

"rudra! I'm telling you, give those papers to me. It's not anything weird is it?" she narrowed her eyes at him and jumped trying to take the papers.

Rudra only smiled playfully gazing at kahini who gave him a nod, "I'll accept that, son in law."

" son in law- my head! What'll you accept?? Don't accept anything from this crazy man, mother" kaya was pissed. She shouted at her mother and glared at rudra who had a playful smirk on his face.

"kaya, that's not the way to talk with your husband. Princess arya and prince rudra, I will bring something for you both to eat" kahini left with arya when she offered help.

"he's not my husband! I'm not going to marry him!" she groaned.

"see! Mother in law, your daughter is very rebellious. " he said coming close to her face. His eyes darkened and a strange smile was there in his eyes.

" why do you always have to be so against me?" rudra pouted. His voice hoarse and deep.

His eyes stared straight into hers and his hand rested behind his back holding the papers.

Kaya felt that he was too close to her and tried to move away. Rudra grabbed the nape of her neck as he brought her face closer.

Their lips were dangerously close. Kaya didn't like this closeness at all. She hated how she felt intimidated by him right now when he looked at her that way.

"Prince rudra, what you are doing is not right, you can't force me to do anything against my wish." she tried to say in a firm voice but it only came out as a stutter.

Upon hearing her, his grip on her neck tightened as he brought her face even closer. "oh really?" he asked in amusement.

"Then stop me from doing something I desperately want to do.."

Kaya tried to move away but she couldn't,  she looked everywhere but at him. Her eye lashes flattering like the wings of a butterfly.

He tilted her head a bit which made her breath hitched and her eyes grew wider as she looked into his eyes.

He kept starting at her, his dark eyes coveting her lips as he observed her eyes. He observed how she closed her eyes shut.

She waited for something she didn't wanted but it never came.

"look. You can not stop me." he asserted.

He ruffled her hair as kaya opened her eyes, he gave the paper to her as he sat back on the small charpai. Observing her.
