Dance

Aria Pov

I was admiring Ezekiel when suddenly Luke and Blaze came up and started talking to us randomly. He suddenly brought up my parents death and what he said made me feel so hurt. It was like the whole flashed again before my eyes. I new I was going to cry and I was definitely going to get an anxiety attack so I ran outside.

I was crying. Yeah I don't cry in front of people I don't know or I'm not close to and that was a hall full of strangers ( sort of). I had no idea what was happening inside. After 5-7 minutes I could sense someone walking towards me but I didn't bother to look up. That person came and sat beside me on the bench. I quickly wiped away my tears realising that it was Ezekiel. He looked so concerned.

He spoke to me, made me understand that it wasn't my fault. He's words felt like a warm, cozy blanket on a cold winter night. I couldn't control anymore and I hugged him. Not intentional. I was crying softly in his embrace. He looked hurt seeing me hurt. He slowly wrapped his strong, muscular arms around me and I felt the comfort I was longing for.

At that moment I didn't want anything else. He gently caressed my back and his head rested on mine. Finally after I calmed down I got away from him. Part of his shirt was wet with my tears. I felt embarrassed and I apologised. He suddenly turned serious. Was he angry ? He said there was a way could pay him back, I was serious now. And in return he asked me to show him my *breathtaking smile* I was so relieved as he smiled at me and I smiled back. This is the first time I saw him properly smile otherwise he's only smirking. And it was beautiful. The way his eyes crinkled and perfect lips streched to that beautiful smile and his pearly white teeth, it was perfect. He was so adorable. He has the cutest smile.

He suddenly spoke up. " There's something I have that will perhaps improve your mood further."

He handed me a bar of Toblerone and a small cute bouquet of flower. Both my favourite. This man is definitely the best. I had a piece of the chocolate and instantly melted at it's taste. It tasted like heaven and the flowers were my personal favourites, orchids and lillies. He sat there watching me with a smile. I had a half eaten piece in my hand and the remaining bar in my other hand. I offered him but instead of taking a piece from the bar he ate the half eaten one in my hand. I'm sure I turned into a strawberry and my heart beating was so fast that he could hear it.

He laughed at my flustered face. As he pulled my cheeks. " Your too adorable princess." He kept his wrapped securely around my waist. Wait did he just call me princess ? This man is killing me !

I was done eating and according to him my red eyes were gone now.

" If your ok now then should we go back inside. It's chilly out here and I don't want you to catch a cold my love. " He said out of concern but what's with the nicknames.
He offered me his hand which I gladly took. We walked back in with our arms laced. Everyone was staring at us. It was a whole lot of mixed reactions. Some girls glaring at me while some boys looked at him menacingly.

My friends came up to me. They looked so worried. They gave me a bone crashing group hug. " Are you ok ? Did you hurt yours.."
" She's absolutely alright Ms. Meyers. " Ezekiel cut off Luna.

" We were really worried Aria. " Apollo adds in. " Yeah but we knew that since Ezekiel had gone after you then there were no worries. " Raymond smiled.

" I am much better now. Sorry for making you all worry." I felt a little guilty.

" Nonsense. You don't need to apologise sister in law. It's our duty towards you. " Felix chirped in.

" Sister in law ?" " Were you all planning Ezekiel's wedding with you ?" Callahan said.

"Wait no that was..." Before I could finish Enid started screaming.

" Omaigod yesssss ! We've already decided on so much. And Ezekiel and Aria can let us know the destination. " I was horrified.

Ezekiel whispered in my ear " Where do you want it princess ?" He said with an amusing smile.

" Ok that's enough. Stop talking rubbish, I'll go home if you all don't stop. " Like seriously could it be more embarrassing.

" Ok ok no more speaking. " Callahan laughed while pulling my cheeks as I huffed.

" Would you like a drink love ?" Ezekiel whispered. " Is there anything I can get you ?"

" Ummm I'd like some champagne. "

" Sure thing"

He went to get me a glass I mean THE EZEKIEL KING went personally to get me a glass of champagne. While we were randomly talking. He came with two glasses one for him and one for me, he motioned for a cheers and I gladly clinked my glass with his. The hall environment was completely different now. Soft music was playing and the lights were dimmed. He stood beside me all the time. The dj made an announcement inviting people for a couple dance.

Enid went with Felix. They looked cute together. While Iris went with Apollo, Raymond with Luna and Claire with Callahan. Before going Enid nudged me and asked me to join with Ezekiel. Does she have a death wish ?

" Ezekiel why don't you and Aria also join ?" She's totally lost it !

" No no there's no need. " I said awkwardly.

" She doesn't like you na that is why she does not want to dance with you. "

" Oh that's so sad. I feel lonely now. " He said.

" Wait what ? No no there's absolutely nothing like that I just....."

" If there's nothing like that then would you ..." he forwarded his hand to me with a genuine smile.

" Sure." I swear that reply came on it's own. It just did. I don't even know what I was thinking.

He led me to the dance floor. He circled his arms securely around my waist and mine rested on his shoulders. The music started and he started to say us. It felt surreal. His eyes were locked on me as he didn't give a damn about anything else. I was so lost in his eyes. They were so deep. I noticed people staring at me.

" They are all staring at me. " I told him nervously. I thought probably I looked weird.

" Can you blame them ? " He looked at me adoringly.

" You really underestimate yourself love."

" I ummm.....I don't know." I actually didn't know what to say.

He smiled at me. After dance the rest of the event went by pretty nicely. We all got to know each other.

It was finally time to leave.

" I hope to see you again love." Ezekiel said.

" Me too. Thank you for everything today." I smiled shyly.

" I can do anything for you love you just have to say it. " He kissed my hand. Such a gentleman.

Once we were seated in our cars and we left then he left with his friends. Heade sure we exited safely. I sat in the car thinking about tonight and every moment I spent with him. It was a like dream. The best dream anyone could ever have.
